Arnold Europe new venue

2020 Arnold Classic Europe moves to new venue.

Just weeks before the 2020 Arnold Classic Europe was originally set to take place in Seville, Spain, a new location has been announced.

The reason for the change in location is due to the strict protocols due to Covid-19.

The new location will be in Santa Susanna, Barcelona between 10-14 December, 2020.

Santa Susanna is a very popular location for a number of IFBB’s most prestigious competitions.

In 2020, the IFBB European and World Amateur Championships were held at the same location just a few weeks ago.

Working very close with Spain’s health authorities, the IFBB have implemented very strict safety protocols in regards to Covid-19.

The number one priority for the IFBB is to keep every athlete, delegate and spectator safe and healthy during the entire event.

In 2020, the only other Arnold Classic that took place was in Ohio, USA. The events in Australia, Brazil and Africa had to all be cancelled due Covid-19 restrictions.

Official Press Release

We are pleased to confirm that the Arnold Classic Europe 2020, which will include the IFBB Arnold Classic Amateur event, and the IFBB Elite Pro World Championships, will take place in Santa Susanna (Barcelona), in the already scheduled dates, December 10th – 14th, 2020.
The best of guarantees in safe travelling, flights frequencies, and a strong implementation of Covid-19 Prevention Protocols, including a “protective bubble concept” (Hotel-Venue-Transfers), which has been already tested with the IFBB World and European Championships & Congresses, makes from Santa Susana the best venue to host this year’s edition of the Arnold Classic Europe.
The IFBB ELITE PRO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020 will take place on Saturday, December 12th.
Inspection Report and additional information will be released SOON!
