2021 IFBB Mediterranean Championships – Results and Photos
The 2021 IFBB Mediterranean Championships was another great success. This prestigious competition was organized by IFBB-Malta President Ralph Decelis.
The venue for the 2021 IFBB Mediterranean Championships was held at the beautiful Corinthia St George’s Bay Hotel, Malta between 22-23 November, 2021.
The event was open to all IFBB-Affiliated Mediterranean countries.
IFBB Elite Pro cards were available to be won by the top finishing athletes, giving athletes the opportunity to compete on the pro circuit.
The event catered to all the popular divisions, plus the new Fitness Challenge and Fit Pairs divisions.
Italy’s Nicola Barlotta dominated the Open Bodybuilding division, cementing his status as one of the best amateur bodybuilders in the world.
Italy also dominated the Bikini division with Nadia Cainelli winning the overall title, while Manuel Caldiroli took home the Men’s Physique overall title.
Malta also had great success with Mahmud Sharshar dominating the Men’s Classic Physique division and Lazam Abras winning his category in Men’s Physqiue.

IFBB-Malta President Ralph Decelis has also confirmed that the 2022 IFBB Mediterranean Championships will be organized in Malta.
