2021 IFBB World Championships – Results Day 1
The first day of events at the 2021 IFBB World Championships was very busy and exciting.
The schedule for the first day of competitions included Men’s Classic Bodybuilding, Master Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Wheelchair Bodybuilding and Junior Women’s Artistic Fitness. Over 250 athletes participated in the first day of events.
With some lineups of over 30 competitors, the massive stage prepared for the IFBB World Championships catered for the event without any problems.
The Classic Men’s Bodybuilding division was the major event of the day, followed by Men Master’s Bodybuilding.
As the competition started, it was evident from the beginning that the athletes from South Korea would do very well in the first day of events.
South Korean athlete Kikwan Seol dominated the Men’s Classic Bodybuilding as he won the overall title in two divisions, Men’s Classic Bodybuilding and also Men’s Games Classic Bodybuilding.
From the start Kikwan immediately started to show his dominance to challenge for both titles. Kikwan presented a balanced physique with incredible condition and aesthetics. The ideal look for classic bodybuilding.
Going through his poses in a very relaxed fashion, it was evident that the South Korean team prepared exceptionally well for this event.
In other divisions, France’s Julien Camdessoucen won the Men’s Wheelchair Open event, Italy’s Nicola Barlotta won the Master Men’s Bodybuilding title and finally Poland’s Yuliia Komenotrus won the Junior Women’s Artistic Fitness overall title.
