2021 Tampa Pro Results Day 2: Iain Valliere books his ticket to the Mr. Olympia.
The second day of events has come to an end at the 2021 Tampa Pro with Canada’s Iain Valliere winning and booking his ticket to the 2021 Mr. Olympia.
It was a well deserved victory for Canada’s Iain Valliere as he battled his way to the top.
The judges made the top competitors work hard for their placings with Ian and Philip Clahar being put side by side for comparisons throughout the evening.
Ian arrived with a much more improved physique compared to 2020 when he was defeated by the new kid on the block, Hunter Labarada.
Speaking to Ron Harris from Muscular Development, Iain admitted that he was lucky to have placed second in 2020. Iain also revealed placing second to Hunter Labrada in 2020 was still on his mind. Winning this event was what he wanted, showing the same fans and judges that he made his improvements.
The next step for Iain is competing at the Texas Pro on 15 August, 2021.
Second place went to the hard working Philip Clahar. Philip continued to be compared to the younger Iain, challenging the eventual winner until the end of the show.
Philip presented a very good physique, worthy to be at the top. During the comparisons, it was evident that Iain had the edge in regards to their midsections.
Taking the final spot on the podium was Charles Griffen. It was a very close fight between second and third, but the difference would be on condition and Philip edged past Charles in this area.
