2021 Tampa Pro Results Day 1: Kerrith Bajjo dominates the 212 Division

Kerrith Bajjo

2021 Tampa Pro Results Day 1: Kerrith Bajjo dominates the 212 Division.

The 2021 Tampa Pro Weekend has finally arrived with the top NPC/Pro League athletes fighting for their Olympia qualification.

The first day of events took place on 6 August, 2021, with a number of exciting competitions taking place from various divisions.

As was expected, the competition was full of excitement and gave the fans what they wanted.

Focusing on bodybuilding, we first take a look at the 212 Division, Kerrith Bajjo took the top prize and as well earned his qualification to the 2021 Olympia Weekend.

Presenting a well balanced physique, Kerrith gave his opponents a difficult time as he dominated the center of the stage.

Finishing in second was Ahmed Elsadany. The judges focused on a number of comparisons between Kerrith and Ahmed. Ahmed also presented a well balanced physique, but it would be Kerrith that edged ahead at the end of the show.

Finally, third sport was awarded to Dectric “Bo”Lewis. Dectric managed to fight of the challenge from a deep lineup to step on the podium. With only a few remaining qualification opportunities left for the Olympia Weekend, Dectric will have to work hard to earn his place on the Olympia stage.

The shock of the evening was Guy Cisternino finishing at the bottom. Cisternino has not been at his best, and it might be the veteran bodybuilder’s final season as a competitive athlete. It looks as Guy’s injuries have taken their toll on the champion bodybuilder. Having nothing to prove, Guy is still regarded as one of the best 212 bodybuilders in the history of the sport.

Turning to the Men’s Classic Physique Division, Germany’s Urs Kalecinski finished on top from a lineup of 38 athletes. Not only was this a fantastic victory for Urs, but earning his Olympia qualification was another great accomplishment.

Urs was sitting with only four Olympia Qualification points, before this event. Presenting a physique that truly resembles the Classic Physique, this victory was well deserved for the German champion.

United Kingdom’s Neil Curry has to settle for second. Earning valuable qualification points for the Olympia Weekend, gives Neil some hope to qualify for this year’s big event.

USA’s Marcus Perry was the last man on the podium, finishing in third. thanks to his placing, Marcus finally earned his first Olympia qualification points for the 2021 season.

Compliments to the judges for their work in judging such a difficult division. All athletes were in fantastic condition.
