2021 Texas Pro Day 1: Robert Timms conquers Classic Physique.
The first day of events have ended at the 2021 Texas Pro, and it would be Robert Timms earning his qualification for the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
The Men’s Classic Physique was highlight of the evening in Texas, with a jam packed lineup of the best Men’s Classic Physique competitors from around the world.
After working in silence, it would be Robert Timms who would win the battle against favorite Logan Franklin.
This will be Robert’s fourth appearance at the Olympia Weekend. Since his last competition in 2018, Robert has always been a threat to win the Classic Physique Olympia title.
Unfortunately, Robert’s best placing at the Olympia was in 2016 when he placed sixth. In 2017 and 2018, Robert would finish in 14th and 15th place. For some reason, not everything goes as planned for Robert when it comes to the Olympia.
Presenting a well balanced physique with just the right mass and definition, from the start, Robert was the man to beat.
2020 New York Pro champion Logan Franklin had to settle for second against the better Robert Timms. Logan will have to try is luck at the remaining contests to secure his place at the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
After placing fourth at the 2021 Tampa Pro, Steve Laureus went one better to finish third in Texas. As it looks, Steve has a very good chance to still qualify for the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
The Bikini Division was another exciting event with 3X Bikini Olympia winner Ashley Kaltwasser winning again.
2021 has been a record breaking season for the queen of the Bikini Division. This victory was not enough for Ashley as after she claimed her victory, she immediately packed her bags to catch her flight to Reno. She will be competing at the Tahoe event to go for two wins in one weekend.
Ashley has already made history by earning her 29th pro victory, which ties her for the most wins in the Pro League’s history. If Ashley wins at the Tahoe Pro Show, she will make history again by becoming the Pro League’s most successful athlete.
Ashley is a true example of a pro athlete. Never denying a challenge, Ashley goes after every opportunity to better herself in the sport.
In the other divisions, Ashley Jones won in Women’s Physique and Joseph Lee was victorious in Men’s Physique.
