2022 Chicago Pro: Antoine Valliant wins to qualify for Mr. Olympia.
Canadian bodybuilding star, Antoine Valliant, booked his ticket to the 2022 Mr. Olympia, after winning the 2022 Chicago Pro.
Antoine made great improvements for this weekends event, after his second place finish to fellow Canadian Iain Valliere in Vancouver last weekend.
From the minute Antoine stepped on stage, he was already ahead of the rest of his fellow competitors. The judges immediately put Antoine in the center of the group in the first call-out and it was game over for the rest of the competitors.
This is a great result for Antoine, who has just recovered from a serious bicep injury and other personal problems, that kept him away from the competitive stage.
The 13 other competitors would end up fighting for second place for the rest of the event.
Tonio Burton would have to settle for second place. Tonio presented a good physique, but he could not match the excellent condition and size of Antoine.
Italy’s Andrea Muzi finished in third, which was a fair result. Andrea did not have the sharpness as one would expect. Andrea was overshadowed with Antoine’s size and condition in every pose.
In the 212 Division, Dectric Bo Lewis, earned his qualification for the Mr. Olympia with a solid victory, while Jonathan T. Pelkey won the Men’s Classic Physique event.
