2022 IFBB Asian Championships – A celebration of bodybuilding and fitness.
The 55th edition of the historic IFBB Asian Championships was organized between 2-5 September 2022.
This historic competition was open to all IFBB-Affiliated Asian National Federations.
During the weekend, the IFBB Asian Congress was also organized with IFBB President, Dr. Rafael Santonja attending the meeting. As with every IFBB Congress, elections are held to vote to confirm new and current members, plus new events are discussed.
The best amateur athletes in Asia competed at this event, with the main goal of earning their pro status. The event is also an IFBB International Ranking event.
The venue for the event was at the Gazprom Sports Complex, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
A total of 33 IFBB Elite Pro cards were won, between various divisions.
The IFBB Elite Pro cards will be distributed as follows:
• Men’s Bodybuilding – 10 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Men’s Classic Bodybuilding – 4 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Men’s Classic Physique – 2 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Men’s Physique – 5 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Muscular Men’s Physique – 2 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Women’s Bodyfitness – 2 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Women’s Bikini – 6 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
• Women’s Wellness – 2 Pro Cards For The Category Winners
All the athletes performed at the highest level, presenting world class physiques.
The Overall Team title in the Men’s category went to Iraq, while the Women’s title went to Kazakhstan.
