2023 Mr. Olympia: The Olympian Dark Horse – Brandon Curry.
2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry has only one goal on his mind, to win back his Mr. Olympia title.
Brandon has always been in the mix, placing second in 2020 and 2021 to Big Ramy, and fourth to Hadi Choopan in 2022. In 2022, Brandon proved that he is still in the game by winning the 2022 Arnold Classic.
A number of bodybuilding pundits have written Brandon Curry off, after his performance at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, but even slightly off, Brandon still managed to place fourth.
Going into the 2023 Mr. Olympia, the bodybuilding world is focusing on defending champion Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, Nick Walker, and Samson Dauda, but it seems they are leaving Brandon on the sidelines.
Leading up to the 2023 Mr. Olympia, Brandon has been giving some previews to his physique, and as it looks, he is looking incredible.
Brandon has matured, at the age of 41, is physique is looking full, but at the same time has incredible balance and condition.
Hadi Choopan might present the hardest looking physique, but Brandon has one of the best aesthetic physiques from the entire Olympia lineup.
If Brandon arrives on point this weekend, at the 2023 Olympia Weekend, there is a possibility that he will be in the final callout, challenging Hadi Choopan for his title.
The younger athletes have to keep one eye on the 2019 Mr. Olympia champion, as Brandon could possibly push them all to the side, to win back his Mr. Olympia title.
Brandon does not have to prove anything, as he has a Sandow trophy in his trophy cabinet, but he as proven he still has the hunger to win that title back, regardless how many times some bodybuilding pundits put him down.
Top coaches such as Milos Sarcev and Chris Aceto, have pointed out on many occasions that Brandon will be a challenger, and a number of former champions have also warned the rest of the lineup to keep an eye on Brandon.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net predicts that Brandon will be in the mix, challenging for the Olympia title, and if he is placed next to Hadi Choopan, the judges will have a very difficult task on their hands.
