2023 Orlando Pro Show: Phil Clahar edges past Hassan Mostafa.

Phil Clahar continues to defy the odds by earning his qualification for the 2023 Mr. Olympia at the 2023 Orlando Pro Show.

The Orlando Pro Show was another great opportunity for Olympia qualification, but only 13 competitors signed up for this event.

Phil Clahar continues to shock the bodybuilding world, by defeating the younger competitors, to qualify for the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

This was not an easy victory for Phil, as he was continuously compared to Hassan Mostafa.

The judges were having a very difficult time choosing between Phil and Hassan. The result would end up in a tie, with Phil getting the final nod from the judges.

The favorite going into the contest was Hassan Mostafa, but the best he could do was finish in second, for the second consecutive time.

Many believe this was a controversial result, with the older Phil Clahar defeating the much younger Hassan Mostafa.

Hassan looked to be on point during all the comparisons, displaying a frame packed with muscle, and great condition. The edge that Phil could have possibly had on Mostafa was the mid-section. Even though Hassan was in condition, he does have the tendency to have a wide midsection.

As the 2023 Mr. Olympia edges closer, Hassan will have a much more difficult time qualifying for Mr. Olympia, with more of the top stars who have not qualified yet, trying their luck at the remaining events.

This is one of the negative aspects of having the points system removed. If the points system was still in use, Hassan would have had no problem qualifying for the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Stan de Longeux aka “Stanimal” was very much improved, finishing in their behind Mostafa and Clahar. Presenting a physique with a great combination of balance and condition, Stan just needs to add a bit more size to his frame, to give him the opportunity to challenge for the top prizes and Olympia qualification.
