2023 Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic: Logan Franklin, Ashley Kaltwasser, and Hye Yoon Kim win.
The sixth edition of the Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic took place at the Hawaiian Convention Center on 18 November, 2023.
The event was a NPC National qualifier, and 2024 Olympia Weekend qualifier for Men’s Classic Physique, Bikini, and Wellness.
Over 298 amateur competitors competed at the event, which was a NPC National qualifier.
2024 Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic Pro/Am dates already confirmed
Everthing is in motion for the 2024 edition of the Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic Pro/Am. The event will take place on 16 November 2024. Two pro events will be taking place which include Bikini and Men’s Physique. A prize fund of $40,000 will be split between both divisions.
Bikini and Men’s Physique 2024 Prize Money
First place – $10,000 and 2024 Olympia Qualification
Second place – $4,000
Third place – $3,000
Fourth place – $2,000
Fifth place – $1,000
GMU Sport and Tony Tavares will be sponsoring the event.

2023 Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic Pro Event
The Pro event consisted of Men’s Classic Physique, Bikini, and Wellness.
The Men’s Classic Physique event only had six competitors, lucky for Logan Franklin, he walked away with a total of $22,000 in prize money. Logan won $12,000 for his victory and another $10,000 for best poser. This was a great opportunity for athletes to qualify for the 2024 Olympia Weekend, and Logan was the man to seal that victory.
Dyon Santiago finished in second, while Kristen Garcia had to settle for third.
Three-time Bikini Olympia winner, Ashley Kaltwasser, walked away with her 42nd pro victory, and $3,000. Second place went to Kate Carroll, and third to Yurika Shigemoto.
Finally, Hye Yoon Kim won the Wellness event, and also took home $3,000 in prize money. Only five athletes competed in this event, with second place going to Chenqi Liu, and Priscilla Lynd had to settle for third.
