2024 Arnold Classic UK: Hadi Choopan and Wesley Vissers aiming for victory

The 2024 Arnold Classic is taking place this weekend, 15-17 March 2024.

After a very successful 2024 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, just two weeks earlier, bodybuilding fans are expecting another exciting event.

The highlight of the event will be the rematch between Hadi Choopan and Samson Dauda.

Hadi impressed the bodybuilding world by stepping on stage in what many believe was his best condition ever.

When it came to condition, nobody could stand next to Choopan, not even the Arnold Classic defending champion, Samson Dauda.

Hadi will not walk away with the UK title, as complications to get his visa to travel to the UK, could have added unwanted stress, which can affect his physique negatively.

Meanwhile, Samson Dauda was not feeling well when he arrived home from the USA, after competing at the Arnold Classic. There were doubts that he might not compete, but he confirmed that he will be competing in the UK.

Going into the show, Hadi Choopan has the support of his longtime coach Hany Rambod. Meanwhile, Samson Dauda and Milos Sarcev have decided to go their separate ways.

The majority of bodybuilding pundits criticized Samson for not arriving at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, in better condition, which led to his decision to cut ties with his coach Milos Sarcev.

During the Menace Podcast, Milos was asked about Samson’s situation, and Milos replied by saying that an athlete has to suffer, and go to a dark place to get into that shredded condition.

Samson must not get offended with constructive criticism, bodybuilding is a sport based on criticism. After the Arnold Classic USA, Samson vented his frustration on his official social media pages, pointing out the lack of respect some media channels showed towards him.

It remains to be seen in what condition Samson will step on stage this weekend. If he does not improve, Hadi Choopan will easily win his second Arnold Classic title in as many weeks.

With only seven bodybuilders in the lineup, we can expect a very close battle for the remaining five places. Antoine Vaillant, James Hollingshead, Akim Williams, Jonathan Delarosa, and Mohamed Shaaban Elimbabi, will all have a very close battle for third spot.

As it looks, Akim Williams and Jonathan Delarosa will be the two athletes fighting for the final spot on the podium, after there great showing in Columbus, Ohio.

Moving over to the Men’s Classic Physique division, Wesley Vissers is still very excited after winning his first Arnold Classic title. This victory will surely give Wesley the confidence to aim for victory in the UK.

Leading up to the event, Wesley has been training at the legendary, Dino’s Gym. From the footage that was published on social media, Wesley looks like he’s on his way to victory.

With fewer athletes in the line up, Wesley will surely be the favorite to win in the UK. Wesley’s main challengers will definitely be Urs Kalencinki and Breon Ansley.

We can expect a fierce battle in every division, with 2024 Olympia Weekend qualification spots up for grabs.
