2024 Arnold Classic UK: Hadi Choopan wins second Arnold title.

The 2024 Arnold Classic UK has come to an end, but not without excitement.

The Men’s Open Bodybuilding event took place on Saturday evening, and it lived up to expectations.

Samson Dauda was competing on his home turf, and he improved from his showing at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, just two weeks earlier, but it was not enough to defeat 2022 Mr. Olympia, Hadi Choopan.

Hadi Choopan confirmed that he was competing at the Arnold Classic UK, just 24 hours before the event started. Hadi had another difficult task to obtain his visa to travel to the UK, but thankfully everything worked out for the Iranian champion.

Hadi presented his usual striated condition, with the mass to match. The now two-time Arnold champion will focus on winning his Mr. Olympia title back, this October in Vegas.

Samson tried everything to win the Arnold Classic in his home country, but he had the difficult task of going up against one of the best bodybuilders in the world.

Samson looked incredible, and he improved on his condition, but it still did not match Hadi’s freaky condition.

With his Olympia qualification already confirmed, Samson Dauda can now focus on the Mr. Olympia, and improve on his third-place finish in 2023.

Akim Williams made some incredible improvements to move up from his sixth-place finish in Columbus to third in the UK.

Akim had to work hard for his third-place finish, with head judge Steve Weinberger, lining up John Delarosa against Akim for several comparisons.

But it would be Akim who edged past Delarosa to take the third spot.

John Delarosa had to settle for fourth, the same result he had just two weeks earlier. John had a tough battle against Akim Williams, and the placing could have been switched between them easily. It will be interesting to hear what Tyler Manion will say about the judge’s decision in his usual roundup.

James Hollingshead, Mohamad Shaaban, and Antoine Vaillant finished in fifth, sixth, and seventh.
