2025 Arnold Classic USA Results – Day 1.
The first day of pro events took place at the 2025 Arnold Classic on 28 February 2025.
The pre-judging and finals were held for Men’s Classic Physique, Fitness International, and Wellness International.
Focusing on bodybuilding, we take a look at Classic Physique, the first pro bodybuilding event of the weekend.
Wesley Vissers went into the show, hoping to defend his 2024 title, but unfortunately for him, he found a stacked lineup, with new faces presenting some incredible physiques.
While Wesley arrived in incredible condition, it was evident from the start that he would not be winning his second Arnold Classic title in the USA.
Mike Sommerfeld, made an incredible impression with his massive, balanced and conditioned physique.
After placing second to Chris Bumstead at the 2024 Classic Physique Olympia, it was evident that Mike would be the man to beat after Chris Bumstead retired from the sport of bodybuilding.
Mike went on to win the event, but many will argue that the second place finisher, Logan Franklin had the more classic physique, with Mike being on the border of open bodybuilding.
Logan Franklin presented a perfect example of what Men’s Classic Physique should look like. Stepping on stage with incredible condition, balance, and size.
Nobody could match Logan’s posing, which also won him the award of Men’s Classic Physique Best Poser award.
Rounding off the top three was Matthew Greggo. Being selected to be on that Arnold stage already makes you a winner, but while Matthew was in great condition, he would eventually be edged out by Mike and Logan, to have to settle for third.
Michael Dabooul had to settle for fourth. While presenting a balanced physique, improvements in size and condition must be made if he wants to make it to the top three.
The shock of the evening was defending champion Wesley Wissers finishing in fifth place.
Wessley improved from his 2024 Classic Physique Olympia presentation, but he could not defeat Mike and Logan to take home his second consecutive Arnold Classic USA title.
