EXCLUSIVE: Phil Heath responds to Nick’s Strength and Power.
Controversy is brewing again in the bodybuilding world. It’s not about an incident on the stage or in a gym, but this time false accusations from Nick Miller, owner of the popular Youtube channel Nick’s Strength and Power.
Just a day ago, Nick Miller published a video on his latest Youtube channel talking about Phil Heath and the comments he made towards Youtubers.
Nick talks about the comments Phil Heath made about bodybuilding journalists and Youtuber’s.
Obviously there is a difference between real journalists that investigate stories and take the time to make sure they have all the evidence before publishing a story compared to Youtuber’s flashing photos with music and talking about how a bodybuilder looks.
Nick believes that 7X Mr. Olympia Phil Heath’s comments were made towards him. This was a crucial mistake.
Phil Heath’s comments were not made towards Nick Miller, and if he had a problem with Phil in the past, his latest comments have nothing to do with what he said at the 2019 Arnold Classic Sunday Seminar.
We contacted Phil Heath and as well tagged him on a post on Twitter, which he answered.
Phil was not referring to Nick Miller, but he was referring to real journalists writing Jay Cutler off when he lost his 2008 Mr. Olympia to Dexter Jackson and then coming back in 2009 to win it back.
Nick Strength just like Luimarco criticize competitors. Do they expect somebody like @PHILHEATH or @RoellyWinklaar not to respond? Its easy for them to criticize, when they get critized back they cry. Phil needed surgery and Roelly had a cramp… big deal.
What’s funny is he acted like I was talkin about Him when I was at the ASC seminar talking about Jay Cutler losing his title and critics and bloggers talked bad about him including Magazine Journalist only to see him win it back in 2009. He made that video for click bait clearly.
Nick Miller seems to be on a high at the moment after being in the spotlight after meeting and interviewing Arnold Schwarzenegger at the 2019 Arnold Classic.
That is a great accomplishment, but it seems Nick is following the same path as the now unknown Luimarco.
Nick in his blog refers to his Youtube channel as the biggest media channel in the industry. These are the type of comments that destroy your own empire.
If we go back to December 2017, Luimarco destroyed his bodybuilding media empire when he literally almost got the crap beaten out of him in Dubai by William Bonac. Obviously, Bonac was not pleased about certain comments Luimarco made towards him and he found him at the Dubai show.
Luimarco then grabbed a microphone and started yelling to the crowd that Bonac will never win anything. Fast forward a year later and Bonac is an Arnold Classic winner and as well one of the best bodybuilders in the world.
Luimarco also clashed with Phil Heath in his usual attacks towards him regarding his abdomen. Phil immediately gave him an aswer when he won another Olympia title not long afterwards.
Nick Miller also published countless videos regarding Phil Heath, following the same steps of Luimarco.
Nick is going down the wrong path just as Luimarco did. They think they are untouchable because they have a major sponsor and a large following on Youtube. Luimarco had Bader Boodai and Nick has Aaron Singerman.
Singerman is sponsoring almost all bodybuilding media, and it is thanks to him, Nick Miller received all the special perks at the 2019 Arnold Classic. If it was not for him, there would have been no chance of Nick stepping anywhere near Arnold.
Look at Luimarco today, he barely is talked about anymore in the bodybuilding industry and the only videos he is publishing is to encourage men not to get married or be involved with women.
Another interesting point is the comments and videos Nick published regarding the abdominal cramp that Roelly Winklaar (not sponsored by Aaron Singerman) suffered on stage at the Arnold Classic.
If anybody watched the contest, you can see Roelly lifting his arm in pain, trying to relieve the cramp. Roelly did not walk off, or faint, he just had a cramp.
Phil Heath is correct when he says people such as Nick publish some video’s just for ‘click bait’.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net has had its fair share of controversy when it comes to publishing stories. After the split between the IFBB and NPC/Pro League, we have been critical about certain things and also have been threatened a number of times with lawsuits.
But the difference is that we have and published the proof to back all our stories.
We have had our Youtube channel closed down on two occasions. The last time it was shutdown was timed perfectly when we were covering the 2017 Arnold Classic in Europe. On the first day of the event, it was shut down. You don’t see us complaining about it.
We know who most probably was behind it, but we got back up and kept moving forward.
A word of advice for Nick Miller, keep your feet on the ground as you can come crashing down very hard, and you will have no chance of getting back up. You have a great thing going and a simple mistake can ruin it all!
Regarding Phil Heath, we stand by him, he was not shown the respect he deserved in the build up to the 2018 Mr. Olympia and we are on record for saying this!
