Janet Layug will not be defending her title at the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
2020 Ms Bikini Olympia Janet Layug has announced that she will not be defending her title at the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
Sources close to Evolutionofbodybuilding.net informed this site that Janet would possibly skip the 2021 Olympia Weekend earlier this week. This site was also informed that she would make an announcement very soon.
The announcement finally arrived at her own show, the Janet Layug Battle of the Bodies. The event took place on 31 July, 2021.
After such a long road to win her first Olympia title in 2020, it was expected that Janet would defend her title in 2021.
The reason for Janet deciding to withdraw from the 2021 Olympia Weekend was not revealed during her announcement.
Immediately after winning the 2020 Ms. Bikini Olympia title, Janet was very busy promoting the Olympia Weekend and also working very close with the NPC and Jake Wood’s Wings of Strength.
Janet was most probably the best ambassador for the Olympia brand in recent years.
It was evident that Janet is planning her future with more opportunities coming her way.
From promoting her own events, offering personal training and working with the NPC and Wings of Strength, Janet has set the foundations for a great future.
