Phil Heath not happy with 2021 Olympia Weekend streaming quality.
7X Mr. Olympia Phil Heath was not on the competitive stage this year, but he was watching the 2021 Olympia Weekend from home… but he was not happy.
As in previous years, the Olympia Weekend gave the opportunity to fans and press to watch the entire weekend from the comfort of their own home or workplace.
The cost for the streaming service is approximately $80 if you get the complete package, which consists of the Olympia Weekend Premium and Amateur Weekend packages.
For many this is a small fee for two days of live footage and an unlimited amount of replays after the event is over. But for others, $80 is not a cheap fee, but they still pay for it to see one of the biggest events of the year.
It was evident at the beginning of the live feed, during the first day of prejudging, the Olympia organizers were facing some technical difficulties.
The problems were more evident while using the feed on a television, compared to a computer or mobile.
One person that was truly aggravated by this was 7X Mr. Olympia Phil Heath.
“Alright, watching the Olympia right now, and that shit happens (Pointing to his TV, with a bad feed). That is ridiculous.
“People should not be paying to have that happen, so whoever is running this, I got gigabit internet, gigabit internet! And that should never happen, get it together guys.” – Phil Heath.
At every major contest, there will always be such criticism, but hearing it from there own, 7X Mr. Olympia, was unexpected.
Phil Heath also confirmed that watching the even on a computer or mobile device was much better.
