Nick Walker and Hosstile Supplements go their separate ways
Big news in the bodybuilding industry with Nick Walker parting ways with Fouad Abiad and Hosstile Supplements.
It was only last February 2022 when Nick Walker made the big move from Revive Nutrition to sign with Hosstile Supplements.
At the time, Nick even left his previous coach and mentor, Matt Jansen, and started working with Dom Supersliced, to prep for the 2022 Mr. Olympia.
Fast forward to October 2022, Nick has now parted ways with Dom Supersliced and teamed up again with his old coach Matt Jansen, just under 12 weeks away from the 2022 Mr. Olympia.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net stated in the article about Nick Walker teaming up with Matt Jansen, that there could be a possibility that Nick leaves Hosstile Supplements, and it happened.
In the last few weeks, it was also evident that Nick Walker was not appearing on any of Fouad Abiad’s Podcasts. Nick was a regular on the shows, and his absence was noticed.
Nick Walker was also a regular on Fouad Abiad’s video advertising campaigns, but in the last week, he was removed from these videos as well.
It’s official, Nick Walker and Fouad Abiad part ways
In his latest episode of Bodybuilding & BS, our good friend Nick Trigili, contacted Fouad Abiad, and received all the information from the source.
Nick Walker allegedly made it very hard for Foaud Abiad to continue to keep him as a sponsored athlete.
According to Nick Trigili, Fouad Abiad was allegedly working on a Nick Walker Signature Series brand of supplements, that would be launched at the 2022 Olympia Weekend. For Fouad to do this, he wanted Nick Walker to sign a contract for another two years.
Nick Trigili continued to explain that Nick refused to sign a two year contract, which caused friction between him and Foaud.
The business relationship between Nick and Fouad, started to deteriorate even more when the subject of appearances came up.
For the 2023 season, Fouad wanted a guarantee from Nick Walker that he would be available for appearances to meet the fans. The most important events would be the 2023 Olympia Weekend and Arnold Classic, where Fouad would have the Hosstile booth set up.
According to Nick Trigili, Nick Walker allegedly refused, as he only wanted to concentrate on his contests. If Nick Walker thinks he will have a long bodybuilding career with this attitude, he is in for a big surprise.
Nick Walker has also removed the link to Hosstile Supplements from his social media.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net does not have any details of the contract between Hosstile and Nick Walker, but ther eis no doubt that Nick was paid very well by Foaud and his company.
Nick literally had to only worry about training and making some appearances for Hosstile Supplements. What more does Nick Walker want?
While the majority of bodybuilders are begging for a decent sponsorship, Fouad was treating Nick very well and supporting him at everything he does. Sponsorship deals like the one Nick had with Hosstile, don’t come very often.
What’s next for Nick Walker
According to Nick Trigili, Fouad allegedly ended his business relationship with Nick Walker last Monday, 3 October 2022. This gives Foaud and Hosstile Supplements the opportunity to sign one or two more star athletes, while Nick now has to search for a new sponsor to support his lifestyle.
At the time of publishing this article, Nick Walker has not made it official that he has signed with another supplement brand. Matt Jansen’s company Revive/Raw Nutrition have not signed Nick, leaving the star bodybuilder with no financial backing.
With less than 12 weeks to the Mr. Olympia, this is not something that Nick Walker wants on his mind. To be the best bodybuilder in the world, the athlete needs financial support, and without the right finances, Nick Walker could literally put an end to his career.
Was this a bad move from Nick Walker? Definitely, yes.
