Photos & Results: Stars shine at the 2024 IFBB Pro Night of Champions.
The historic Night of Champions is back, after being missing from IFBB Pro’s contest calendar for 20 years.
The Night of Champions is a historical event, originally promoted by the legendary Wayne DeMilia from 1978 to 2006. The IFBB sanctioned the event between 1978 and 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, Wayne DeMilia created a new federation, the PDA, and organized the Night of Champions for another two years, with the final event taking place in the UK.
Thanks to Dr. Vic and Helen O’Reilly, they managed to bring back the iconic Night of Champions to give athletes the chance to compete at the highest level in the UK, on IFBB Pro’s world stage.
This fantastic event, with $37,500 in prize money, is just the beginning of a new era in the UK, as the promoters have other exciting plans for the future, including a fitness expo next year.
Pro athletes from all over the world traveled to the UK to participate in this great event.
The event took place on 26 October 2024, at the newly refurbished Aviation Suite at the Thistle Hotel, London.
The pro events that took place were Bodybuilding, Bikini Fitness, and Men’s Physique.
Jonathan Rouch won the bodybuilding event, registering his first professional victory, after making his pro this year. Jonathan will surely be back on the pro stage, fighting for more victories.
Michelle Reis won the bikini fitness event, defeating a line-up of some of the best pro bikini athletes.
Finally, in the Men’s Physique event, Yury Vasenew took home the top prize. Yurii displayed a balanced physique, which gave him the nod from the judges.
