Androsurge Estrogen Blocker review

PRODUCT REVIEW: Androsurge Estrogen Blocker.

This is our complete Androsurge Estrogen Blocker review, from ingredients, side effects, to customer experiences and results.

As you could tell by the name, this supplement is all about reducing your female sex hormone levels.

This should give your testosterone more room to thrive.

As a result, you should experience:

  • Bigger muscles
  • Increased strength
  • Improved libido and vitality

But just how effective is Androsurge at doing its job?

That’s what we aim to find out here.

Pros and Cons

The good thing about Androsurge is that it uses Rhodiola to combat stress. It also includes vitamin D and zinc which are foundational test boosters. Longjack may stimulate your libido.

On the other hand, there are a couple of things we didn’t like. For example, vitamin D is too lightly dosed for our taste. There’s also a lack of some critical ingredients like magnesium.

You get the feeling that while this test booster may work, it’s not as strong as you’d expect it to be.

  • Zinc, D3, and Rhodiola will support your masculine health
  • Reduced stress & cortisol thanks to Rhodiola
  • You may notice a boost in sex drive
  • Fair price

  • Includes some unproven ingredients
  • Omitted magnesium and boron
  • Vitamin D could use a higher dosage

Who Makes Androsurge?

The company behind Androsurge Estrogen Blocker is called Jacked Factory.

While they have many categories of supplements, their main focus is on muscle building and fat loss pills.

When looking through their website, it becomes clear their supplements are mainly intended for athletes. But Jacked Factory prides itself on delivering safe and reliable products that anyone can use.

Let’s now see if their estrogen blocker, Androsurge, is the right supplement for you.

The main purpose of Androsurge is to block estrogen so your anabolic hormone levels can raise.

Obviously, the main focus here is on raising your test levels.

The effects of higher testosterone are obvious. You feel better, you look good, and there’s less fat around your belly due to higher metabolism.

In fact, Androsurge promises you these benefits:

  • Block estrogen
  • Harden your physique
  • Lose fat
  • Increase energy

This is not news, testosterone boosters will almost always flaunt their benefits to try to impress you. What we’re more interested in, though, are its ingredients. The back label will tell us how good Androsurge really is.

Ingredients in Androsurge are pretty standard. We’ve already seen many of these in testosterone boosters. It’s not a bad thing though; it’s good to see that the producers went with an already proven formula.

There are also no proprietary blends in sight, which is another positive thing about this test booster.

The quality of the ingredients themselves is solid. Androsurge is produced in a cGMP facility and was tested for purity, quality, and safety.

Let’s see what’s under the hood:

Vitamin D

You could call vitamin D a hormone, and you’d be correct. Your liver turns vitamin D that you get from the sun or diet into its active hormone form, called calcitriol. It’s so powerful that it can raise your testosterone levels naturally – especially if your vitamin D levels aren’t in the optimal range. (1)

You’d be forgiven for thinking you’re unlikely to be vitamin D deficient. But when you look at the statistics, you quickly realize a deficiency in this nutrient is extremely common. (2)

Low vitamin D blood levels can negatively affect your testosterone. So supplementing with it is a good idea if you suspect you may not be getting enough of it.

The only potential issue here is that Androsurge uses 1000IU of D3. While this is no small dose, top testosterone boosters typically use between 3300-5000IU of D3, as it exerts stronger effects on testosterone at these levels.

Zinc is a mineral, a very important one at that. Your body doesn’t need much of it, but it doesn’t store it either. That means you need to get zinc daily to maintain optimal blood levels of this critical trace mineral.

Why is it so important?

Well, from regulating your immune system to your testosterone production, zinc keeps your body working right across all boards. (3)

It also increases your strength and muscle building, which goes hand in hand with high testosterone. Androsurge includes 9.5mg of zinc per daily serving, which is about 63% of your daily requirement. A little too light in our opinion, you’ll need to cover the gap with food or more supplements here.

Grape Seed Extract

Grape seed extract is a great antioxidant. Some people believe it can also inhibit aromatase, an enzyme that turns testosterone to the female sex hormone. The science isn’t fully clear on this yet, though. It’s not a convincing ingredient in our eyes. We feel there are many better alternatives to take in its place. (4)

DIM is a byproduct of Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C), a compound that naturally occurs in broccoli. This might sound confusing, so bear with us for a second…

Here’s how it works:

When you consume broccoli, your body breaks it down into molecules such as Indole-3-Carbinol. I3C is then further broken down into even smaller molecules.

These include not only DIM but also other molecules that work together to reduce your estrogen (female sex hormone).

However, science isn’t fully clear yet on the effects of taking isolated DIM vs. obtaining it naturally from broccoli. As a result, taking isolated (synthetic) DIM like the one in Androsurge might not be the best option. We’d much rather prefer to see Indole-3-Carbinol included instead. (5)

Rhodiola Root Extract (3% Rosavins, 1% Salidroside)

Rhodiola is an ancient herb that grows in wild Arctic lands. It is an adaptogen, which literally means it makes your body adapt to its environment. Rhodiola is particularly good at making you more resilient to stress. It achieves this by blunting cortisol, the main stress hormone.

Now, you’re probably wondering how does this relate to testosterone. The truth is, cortisol inhibits your testosterone, so when there’s more of it, there’s less of testosterone in your blood. By reducing cortisol, Rhodiola helps you maintain healthy testosterone levels. (6, 7)

LongJack is a standard inclusion in supplements of this kind. And we aren’t its biggest fans.

While it will probably raise your libido, there’s nothing about it that’s proven to boost testosterone.

If you ask us, there are much better choices of ingredients for boosting your T. (8)

Black Pepper Extract

This is another ingredient that won’t raise your test levels, but we’re happy to see it here. Why?

Because black pepper makes it so your body can absorb more of other ingredients in Androsurge. Essentially, black pepper makes certain ingredients it’s combined with a little more potent. (9)

Anything Missing?

Test boosters like Androsurge often include vitamins and minerals as the basis of their formula. This is important because if you’re deficient in any of these vitamins, other ingredients may be ineffective at raising your testosterone.

We like that Androsurge included vitamin D and zinc, but there are a few of other foundational ingredients missing. These include:

Missing Ingredients

  • Magnesium – Magnesium is shown to raise both free and total testosterone levels. What’s even more impressive, it doesn’t appear to matter if you’re sedentary or athlete, magnesium works in both! (10)
  • Boron – A trace mineral that improves your bone density, testosterone production, and other bodily functions. (11)
  • Indole-3-Carbinol – As we mentioned above, I3C is a natural compound found in broccoli. As such, it breaks down into a few smaller molecules, one of which is DIM. DIM and other molecules work together to inhibit estrogen activity in your body, helping testosterone to stay high. (12)
  • Mucuna Pruriens – It’s so effective at raising dopamine levels that it’s used by people with Parkinson’s. You’ll feel more motivated and energized when taking Mucuna. Not only that, it’s also shown to raise your T levels, and who wouldn’t want that? (13)
  • Ashwagandha – Much like Rhodiola, it reduces stress and its hormones cortisol, adrenaline, and noradrenaline. It not only makes you feel better but also improves your body’s ability to grow in strength and muscle mass. (14)

Don’t get us wrong – Androsurge’s formula is far from bad. It’s just that these few omissions could mean the difference between noticing great results and being disappointed with them.

How to Take (Dosage)

You’re directed to take 1 capsule of Androsurge 2 times per day.

The best way to take it is with a glass of water 20 minutes before your meals.

What’s more, the label states you should take it continually for 8-12 weeks for best results.

Of course, it also makes sense that you’d train regularly and eat clean during this period. After all, these testosterone boosters are nothing more than a support to your lifestyle. You can’t expect them to do all the work for you. When you do put in the work though, they will speed up your progress that much more.

Androsurge Side Effects

Overall, there’s not much concern about Androsurge’s formula. Based on the label, nothing indicates it’s a dangerous or potentially risky supplement.

Perhaps the only thing to watch out for is DIM. At high doses, some men may experience side effects like gynecomastia (aka man boobs) and belly fat gain. But the science still isn’t fully clear on this – for some people, DIM works perfectly fine.

This goes without saying, but you should always stick to what the supplement label says. That’s the best way to avoid side effects if you do choose to go with this supplement. By taking more than recommended, you put yourself at risk, but otherwise, there should be no problems with Androsurge.

Customer Reviews

There are over 1,864 customer reviews on Amazon at the time of writing this.

What’s even more impressive is the average rating of Androsurge there, which is 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Right from the start, you can tell that most users are satisfied with this product. While some feel it’s not as strong as some other higher-priced test boosters, it offers a positive return on investment.

Let’s see what some users had to say:

“You will probably get headaches at first but after about a week, the headaches went away. After two weeks I started to notice an increase in energy and motivation. My mood has also improved. The product works.” – Amazon Customer

“It’s only been a couple of months but this is the least invasive, most natural feeling testosterone booster I’ve taken to date.” – Hays (Amazon Customer)

“Some slight improvement noticed. However, I seem to do better with ashwagandha.” oogaloog (Amazon Customer)

You can get Androsurge on Amazon for around $35.99 per bottle.

One bottle will last you a full month if you take the suggested 2 capsules per day.

Is Androsurge Estrogen Blocker Good Value For Money?

We feel that Androsurge Estrogen Blocker has a fair price tag. Considering the formula it uses, there aren’t many supplements out there that could offer the same for $36. It may not be the strongest test booster out there, but we feel it’s a good value for its price.

So what can you take from this Androgen Estrogen Blocker review?

Ultimately, you should consider what your goals are. If you’re looking to potentially raise your libido along with being more resilient to stress, then Androsurge will help you.

The “Estrogen Blocker” part is something that itches us, though. With the exception of DIM, there’s not much to it that can reduce your estrogen levels. Even DIM is a questionable ingredient as it’s shown to actually increase estrogen in some cases.

Androsurge is a mid-range product in all areas. The price, ingredients, benefits… If you’re currently not looking for anything stronger, then it could be the right choice for you.
