Big Ramy to miss the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro.
Two-time Mr. Olympia Big Ramy will be absent from the high-profile line-up of guest posers at the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro, which is taking place 10-11 May 2024.
This will not be the first time Big Ramy pulled out from Jim Manion’s event. The guest-posing line-up of Mr. Olympia’s competitors gives a preview of what to expect at the Mr. Olympia event every year.
This year’s line-up will consist of Hunter Labrada, Samson Dauda, Derek Lunsford, Nick Walker, and Andrew Jacked.
In 2022, Big Ramy also pulled out at the last minute, raising speculation if he would win his third Mr. Olympia title, but it would not be, as Hadi Choopan went on to be crowned the 2022 Mr. Olympia.
Missing out on Jim Manion’s event does not go down well with the media and fans.
Visa issues prevent Big Ramy from traveling to the USA
Big Ramy published a short message on his official social media, stating that visa issues prevented him from traveling to the USA.
Several bodybuilding fans don’t seem to believe Big Ramy’s excuse, since he traveled to the USA on numerous occasions during his career.
“Dear Fans and Fellow Athletes”,
“I’m truly sorry to announce that due to visa delays, I won’t make it to this year’s Pittsburgh Pro event. This means not only missing the chance to guest pose but also the invaluable opportunity to be part Mr. Jim Manion event again and connect with you, my incredible supporters. Your enthusiasm has always been my driving force, and it’s deeply disappointing not to share this moment with you.”
“I promise this setback only strengthens my commitment to meet and thank each of you personally at future events. Your understanding and support during this time are immensely appreciated.”
“Thank you for standing by me. Till then, stay strong”.
With gratitude,
Big Ramy
Big Ramy is a fan favorite, and surely Pro League President Jim Manion will not be happy, after publishing Big Ramy’s image on all the promotional material related to the event.
Will Big Ramy return to competitive bodybuilding?
While many were expecting Big Ramy to make a return to the competitive stage, and possibly the Mr. Olympia, his latest absence from the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro guest posing line-up will raise a number of doubts.
There is already speculation that Big Ramy will not be competing in 2024.
Surely more news related to this story will surface in the next few days, and Evolutionofbodybuilding.net will be the first to bring you the news.
