The Hadi Choopan judging controversy at the 2021 Mr. Olympia is continuing to make the headlines. Unfortunately, the “Voice of Bodybuilding” Bob Cicherillo is allegedly being used to cover the NPC/Pro League’s flaws.

Just recently, the “Voice of Bodybuilding” Bob Cicherillo published a new podcast on his new YouTube channel, explaining the judging decisions at the 2021 Mr. Olympia.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net believe that Bob having his own YouTube channel to share the “Official” news from the NPC and Pro League is a really good decision.

To make it clear, this site believes so much in Bob’s project that we decided to advertise his channel.

Bob has written on his “About” section of his YouTube page and on his new logo, that “He’s here to deliver the OFFICIAL NEWS within the IFBB and NPC Federations.” Screenshots of the page will be published at the end of this article.

This has caused a lot of controversy in his comments in regards to the judges views and placing of Hadi Choopan at the 2021 Mr. Olympia.

In an episode of the Bob Cicherillo’s Voice of Bodybuilding Podcast, Bob basically revealed the “official” reason why the judges allegedly denied Hadi Choopan victory at the 2021 Mr. Olympia.

Bob said in his podcast that if Hadi reduces the size of his delts, he has a great chance of winning the Mr. Olympia title.

Bob did not accuse Hadi of doing anything against the rules, but he did confirm that the judges did not like the appearance of Hadi’s delts.

Now, after Bob has been promoting that he is the source for the “Official” source for news regarding the NPC and Pro League, the bodybuilding world and media believe that Bob announced the official news.

In the past, NPC/Pro League Head Judge Steve Weinberger has discussed decisions about certain athletes, but he has not talked about their decision about Hadi Choopan.

Hadi was undoubtedly in the best condition at the 2021 Mr. Olympia. Big Ramy and Brandon Curry could not match Hadi’s condition.

In his latest video, Bob stated that the opinions on his podcast are just his opinions, but this causes confusion since he says he is the “Official” source of news for the NPC/Pro League.

But, according to Bob’s announcement, Hadi’s delts looked “funny” to the judges.

Immediately after Bob published the “Official” answer in regards to Hadi Choopan’s placing and problems with his delts, a number of bodybuilding media wrote about these alleged decisions.

When the reports from Nick Trigili’s Bodybuilding and Bullshit, Christian Duque’s StrengthAddicts, Xavier Wills Desktop Bodybuilding and Evolutionofbodybuilding.net started making the rounds, Bob Cicherillo started feeling the heat.

Bob was forced to make another video on his official Instagram page to answer questions about what he said in his previous video about the judging decision in regards to Hadi Choopan.

In his latest video, Bob stated that the opinions on his podcast are just his opinions, but this causes confusion since he says he is the “Official” source of news for the NPC/Pro League.

Bob basically allegedly accused the media of blowing things out of proportion and mixing up his words.

The media cannot be blamed. Bob on numerous occasions said he is the “Official” for NPC and Pro League news, plus he is still the Athletes Representative, which means he is in the “Inner Circle” of the NPC and Pro League.

Again, Evolutionofbodybuilding.net supports Bob Cicherillo, he is the original “Voice of Bodybuilding” and he is a great historian to the sport, but he cannot backtrack on his comments.

Bob works within the NPC and Pro League and he will always protect their image, regardless if they are right or wrong. Evolutionofbodybuilding.net knows this first hand as this site clashed with Bob on many occasions.

The Manion’s or the Head Judges within the NPC and Pro League will only make an official announcement when they are forced to do so, to protect their image.

In the meantime, the NPC and Pro League are not stupid, they will allegedly use other popular personalities within their organization to relay their information.

Nick Trigili has been singled out for his report on this subject, but he is correct and at the moment, he has the fastest growing bodybuilding podcast. As they say, “The Truth Hurts” and Nick is accurate in his reports and the bodybuilding community are realizing this.

You never slap the hand that feeds you and Bob is protecting must protect his career and be loyal to his employers, but he should not accept being their puppet.

Bob should not continue to cover what the judges really said, and admit that he was reporting the official decision and reasoning in regards to Hadi Choopan.

Even Iain Vaillere said on Fouad Abiad’s recent podcast that allegedly backstage at the 2021 Mr. Olympia, the word was that the judges were complaining about Choopan’s shoulders, making the comments of Bob more official.

The NPC/Pro League should publish a press release about the controversy about Hadi Choopan’s delts and not only has this made Choopan look bad, but Bob is also in hot water about his comments.
