Bodybuilding legend Jean-Pierre Fux gives his 2022 Mr. Olympia top 10 predictions, in what he believes is the best contest since 2009.
Being a former Mr. Olympia competitor, and one of the biggest men on the stage, Jean-Pierre Fux has the experience to predict an accurate top ten at this years Mr. Olympia.
Jean-Pierre Fux placed in the top 10 at three consecutive Mr. Olympia events, between 1996 and 1998. Unfortunately, a freak accident while squatting for a photo shoot, cut his career short. Jean-Pierre did return to the stage, but he was never at his best again.
Jean-Pierre is still very active in the bodybuilding and fitness industry, coaching numerous athletes for the top events, such as the Olympia Weekend.
Jean-Pierre believes that the 2022 Mr. Olympia, will be one of the most exciting editions since 2009. For the younger fans reading this article, Jay Cutler returned from a shock defeat to Dexter Jackson in 2008, to win his title back in 2009. Jay Cutler made bodybuilding history by being the first Mr. Olympia winner to lose his title and win it back again.
Focusing on the 2022 Mr. Olympia, Jean-Pierre Fux predicts the top half of the top ten very easily.
1 – Big Ramy
2 – William Bonac
3 – Hadi Choopan
4 – Brandon Curry
5 – Nick Walker
Big Ramy will win his third consecutive title according to Jean-Pierre Fux, thanks to his incredible size and condition.
Jean-Pierre looks to have a lot of faith in William Bonac, placing ahead of Hadi Choopan and 2019 Mr. Olympia winner and 2021 runner-up Brandon Curry. Nick Walker remains in fifth place as in 2021.
For the bottom half of the top ten, Jean-Pierre finds it very difficult to predict his placings, since the line-up is so competitive.

8 – Samson Dauda or Hunter Labrada
9 – Andrew Jacked
10 – Michal Krizo
Jean-Pierre sees Derek Lunsford placing in sixth place on his Mr. Olympia Open Division debut, after winning the 212 Olympia title in 2021.
Unfortunately for Iain Valliere, Jean-Pierre predicts that he will finish in seventh place for the third consecutive year.
Jean-Pierre could not decide between Hunter Labrada and Sanson Dauda for eighth place. What is interesting is that Jean-Pierre has Hunter Labrada falling four places from 2021, where he placed fourth.
Newcomers Andrew Jacked and Michal Krizo finish in ninth and tenth place respectively.
The dark horses were not left out by Jean-Pierre Fux as he believes any of them can crack the top ten.
