Industry powerhouse, the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), has partnered with BP: Fitness Trade Show to help deliver the UK’s only focused event exploring the business of fitness on the 12th and 13th September.

Formerly LIW (Leisure Industry Week), the newly charged BP: Fitness Trade Show has received a boost after announcing a partnership with leading association and fellow trade show organiser IHRSA.

There is a clear synergy between the two brands, with organisers of BP: Fitness Trade Show, BodyPower, keen to make as significant an impact with their trade offering as they have done with sister event BodyPower Expo, now the world’s largest indoor consumer fitness expo.

IHRSA will provide far more than credibility to the newly named event, providing the likes of thought leaders Killian Fisher and Gerard Masdeu to deliver a seminar to operators on why ‘Inclusive Fitness Is Good For Business’, covering both member and staff retention.

The obvious draw of IHRSA, who host their annual conference on March 21-24, 2018 in San Diego, CA, will attract a wider cross-section of delegates including club operators, fitness professionals, and aficionados to BP: Fitness Trade Show. The event promises to engage with the fitness sector like no other show on offer in the UK.

Show Director, Steve Orton, is quoted as saying: “BP: Fitness Trade Show may be a renamed event, but it retained a privileged position as a staple of the trade show calendar after nearly three decades in the guise of LIW. The rebrand represents a shift in focus and we believe that veering away from discussions on policy and physical activity is the correct strategy. IHRSA are a partner who will bring expertise and they share our viewpoint that our industry is about looking commercially at fitness and delivering accessible education that will improve CPD and day-to-day performance. Delegates can enjoy world class education, which IHRSA will contribute towards, and come away with dozens of new ideas for taking your club to the next level.”

BP: Fitness Trade Show will feature sessions taught by some of the most successful individuals and thought leaders in the health club industry. The event is free to attend, giving operators the chance to register their team as a collective. With six educational curations interspersed with practical demonstration areas and workshops, there really is something for every attendee at the event.
