Brandon Curry hospitalized – Mr. Olympia appearance in doubt.
The 2023 Olympia Weekend has been overshadowed by injuries and other problems, with Brandon Curry being the latest athlete to be temporarily derailed.

According to reports, the 2019 Mr. Olympia champion has allegedly been hit with food poisoning and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Bob Cicherillo revealed the news at the start of the 2023 Olympia Weekend Press Conference.
A number of bodybuilding media outlets, published reports that Brandon Curry is out of the 2023 Mr. Olympia, but not long after, reports started to surface that Brandon is still fighting to make it to the stage on Friday.
Bodybuilding pundit AJ Kelly Robert, contacted Brandon Curry’s wife, Brandy Leaver, to confirm the news that Brandon is suffering from food poisoning.
Brandy Leaver also left a post on AJ’s Instagram page, confirming that Brandon is fine and in good spirits.
Unfortunately for Brandon, this is the worst possible situation, with less than 24 hours before he steps on stage for pre-judging, his hopes of winning his second Mr. Olympia title could be over.
Just days before the 2023 Olympia Weekend, bodybuilding star Nick Walker, had to pull out due to a serious hamstring injury.
