Brandon Curry – Setting an example at the 2022 Arnold Classic
The 2022 Arnold Classic will be a special event, with 2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry accepting the invitation to compete at this prestigious event.
The Arnold Classic is a truly special event for Brandon as he has won this event in a number of different countries. He won the Arnold Classic in Brazil in 2013, Australia in 2017 and finally he won the original Arnold Classic in the USA in 2019, the same year he won the Mr. Olympia title.
The 2022 Arnold Classic will have a number of former winners competing at the event, such as William Bonac, Cedric McMillan and Brandon Curry.
What separates Brandon from the rest of the competitors is that he has not competed at this event since he won the Mr. Olympia title in 2019.
In the following years, Brandon concentrated on the Mr. Olympia, placing second in 2020 and 2021 to Big Ramy.

Brandon is going into the 2022 Arnold Classic as one of the favorites to win the title for the second time in his career.

Brandon could have easily refused his invitation to the Arnold Classic and just put all his effort into the Mr. Olympia.
Many other bodybuilders in the position of Brandon would not have taken the risk and compete at the Arnold Classic, fearing that they could possibly lose and tarnish their reputation.

The fact that Brandon is competing at the Arnold Classic, shows he is still willing to throw himself into the lions den and compete with the younger, hungry competitors.
The 2021 Arnold Classic Champion, Nick Walker will not be defending his title, leaving the door open for a new winner. Regardless if Walker competed or not, this surely would not have changed Brandon Curry’s plans.
Brandon is going into the Arnold Classic, with the added pressure that the other competitors don’t have. He is, at the moment, the second best bodybuilder in the world, and is the favorite to challenge Big Ramy to win his Olympia title back.
The last time Brandon Curry won the Arnold Classic in 2019, he went on to win the Mr. Olympia. This could be Brandon’s destiny… and the fans have to wait and see.
If Brandon does win both the Olympia and Arnold Classic again, it will be an incredible accomplishment.
Professional bodybuilders need to compete, regardless of their status. Brandon is a fan favorite, and the only way the fans can see him at his best, is on the competitive stage.
