Phil Heath returning to Mr Olympia stage for number 8.

7X Mr. Olympia Phil Heath has announced that he is returning to the Mr. Olympia stage this December to try to win his title back.

The personal goal for Phil is to tie and surpass the record that is currently held by Ronnie Coleman and Lee Haney.

Phil Heath won seven consecutive Mr. Olympia titles up to 2018 when he was defeated by Shawn Rhoden.

Immediately after the 2018 Mr. Olympia,  Phil Heath had to have emergency surgery as he had two very big hernias.

After the operation, Phil decided to skip the 2019 Mr. Olympia to recover and get back to the great condition we are used to seeing him in.

As the 2020 Mr. Olympia promotion kicked in, all eyes were on Phil Heath as he was always looking in great condition.

Phil Heath kept quiet about the situation and the bodybuilding world continued to speculate.

With Phil Heath confirming that he is competing at the 2020 Mr. Olympia, his name in the the list just made the competition move up another level.
