Chad Nicholls and William Bonac in damage control after recent interview

Chad Nicholls and William Bonac in damage control after recent interview.

William Bonac and his coach, Chad Nicholls, are on the attack after Bonac revealed certain details about his health on a recent interview.

In a recent interview with Giles Thomas on Muscular Development, William Bonac revealed that he has a slight kidney problem, and put his medication on hold, to prep for the 2023 Arnold Classic.

Bonac explained in detail, that his blood work was ok, but the doctors noticed he had some ‘inflammation in his kidneys.’

“I was worried you know. I didn’t feel good. I thought maybe that something was wrong. I did my blood work. I told them [Arnold organizers], because they were asking me and I told them, ‘listen, if my blood work is okay, I’ll compete. If not, don’t bother me.’ Yeah, so I did that. To my surprise, everything was okay. A little bit of inflammation in my kidneys. I have to take measurements for that. I have some medicine to take but I can’t take it right now because I’m in prep because it goes against each other,” says William Bonac.

“So right now, like my whole prep that I’m doing, I’m not even taking orals. Yes, no orals. Just to save myself and not to make it worse,” added Bonac.

Being a bodybuilding news website, Evolutionofbodybuilding.net believes this was an important news item, having a bodybuilder admit he is suffering from a slight kidney problem, and decided to put his medication on hold, as it clashes with his current protocols.

It’s a known fact, that is a kidney problem is not treated immediately, it can lead to more serious health problems.

Chad Nicholls attacks Evolutionofbodybuilding.net, claims news is ‘clickbait’

Immediately after Evolutionofbodybuilding.net published the article about Bonac’s comments, Chad Nicholls went on the attack, claiming the article is ‘clickbait’, and allegedly written to tarnish the athlete and federation.

Chad and Bonac went to their official Instagram accounts to do some damage control, explaining to their followers that Bonac has no serious kidney issues.

Regardless of what both Bonac and Chad say, William admitted that he had a kidney issue on a podcast, and also admitted he is not taking the prescribed medication to correct the situation.

Chad Nicholls said “Everybody would take months off, but we don’t live in a perfect world, and there is a very short window to make money in this industry.”

The 2023 Arnold Classic is not the only event that offers decent prize money, Bonac could have easily took some time off, and prep for another event, in perfect health.

The pressure is on Chad Nicholls in 2023, both Big Ramy and William Bonac were not happy with their placings at the 2022 Mr. Olympia

What Bonac is doing does not send the right message to the younger athletes, that look up to him.

There has to be some responsibility, and both Chad and Bonac are not seeing the bigger picture.

Is it possible that Bonac is putting money before his long-term health? Every disease or health problem starts from nothing, and has to be corrected.

Chad even went so far to say that Evolutionofbodybuilding.net published the article because this site has agenda against the Pro League and create drama for the athletes.

If Bonac kept his kidney problem to himself, Evolutionofbodybuilding.net would not be writing about this situation.

Chad also said, “His (Bonac’s) kidneys were inflamed, and the reason is because he had just got off an Olympia prep, where he pushed, every guy that did the Olympia that’s now doing the Arnold, is in the same situation therefore, they all have to be smart.”

Chad’s comments are totally incorrect, numerous athletes decided to skip the 2023 Arnold Classic, to give their body time to heal.

No other athlete that is on the 2023 Arnold Classic competitors list, revealed that they have any health problems. Chad cannot speak for the other athletes.

The pressure is on Chad in 2023, both his top athletes had horrible placings at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, defending champion Big Ramy finished in fifth, while William Bonac fell from sixth in 2021 to ninth.

A number of other sites reported the same news, but Chad decided to attack this site.

Standing our ground

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net will not go back on what was published, and this site will continue to write articles, to protect and inform the athletes.

If a federation or business is corrupt or taking advantage of the athletes, we will expose them. This site has always promoted the athletes and coaches in a positive way.

Chad Nicholls and his son, can comment on Evolutionofbodybuilding.net’s social media as much as they want. They know Bonac revealed too much and its the media’s duty to discuss the situation. Now the job is damage control for Chad and Bonac.

The IFBB Pro League and Arnold Classic organizers, should investigate this matter. They have an athlete that has admitted on a podcast that he refused to take important medication, to then continue with their PED protocols.

A number of high-profile figures, within the Pro League and bodybuilding industry, contacted Evolutionofbodybuilding.net to give this site support.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net has always supported Chad Nicholls, promoting his past and future athletes, but this site has the right to publish an article about any of his athletes. țEvolutionofbodybuilding.net is a bodybuilding news site, and what William Bonac said is news worthy.

A number of other sites reported the same news, but Chad decided to attack this site.

All the comments that Chad Nicholls decided to post on Evoltionofbodybuilding.net’s social media will be published at the end of this article.

All our readers can decide for themselves.
