Chris Dickerson continues fight

Chris Dickerson on the road to recovery after heart attack.

After all the doom and gloom in the world at the moment, finally we have some good news.

1982 Mr. Olympia Chris Dickerson’s health is improving after having some major health problems.

Chris fell and broke his hip and while in hospital he also suffered a major heart attack.

Chris was having problems breathing on his own and was transferred to ICU.

Legendary bodybuilder and close friend of Dickerson, Bill Pearl has been keeping the bodybuilding world up-to-date with all the updates on Dickerson’s situation.

Bill Pearl managed to give the good news on his official social media page this week that Chris’ health is improving.

Chris Dickerson is awake, off the ventilator, and speaking. According to his doctors, there is no brain damage, and things are looking good for his recovery.

At 80, this will be a delicate time for Dickerson.

We received a call this morning from Bill Neylon, from Florida. Thanks to all your prayers and positive thoughts, Chris Dickerson ia awake, off the ventilator, and speaking. His doctors say there is no brain damage, and things are looking good for his recovery.

As you all know, it will be a tremendous challenge, and uphill battle, but Chris is no stranger to challenges and hard work.

I am sure he will be encouraged by the outpouring of love and concern that so many have expressed. Your continued thoughts and prayers will give him added strength.Thank you all for your great response. – Bill Pear
