Six-time Ms. Olympia winner, Cory Everson, remembers Jeff Everson, five years after his passing.
Jeff and Cory were a super couple during her bodybuilding career. Even though the super couple separated in 1996, they remained very close.
The bodybuilding world came to a standstill on 26 February 2019, when Jeff Everson was found unresponsive at his home after he arrived home from work. It was confirmed that natural causes were the cause of death.
According to Cory’s latest post on her official Facebook page, she still misses Jeff very much and writes that he was the most influential person throughout her life.
“It’s been 5 painful years for me that I lost one of the most important, influential, loving, generous, loyal, and honest people in my entire life. Jeff, I miss you, respect you, admire you, and cherish every single minute we were blessed to spend together. I know there will be many more moments in Heaven in the future. 5 years ago, This industry lost a GIANT and I lost even more. Until we meet again on that glorious day.” – Cory Everson.
Jeff was the owner of the famous magazine, Planet Muscle and television show with the same name. Jeff also specialized in sports nutrition and bodybuilding science.
Jeff won Mr. USA in 1992 and later went on to win the converted Masters Mr.America title.
