RESULTS: DeLaRosa and Correa dominate at Puerto Rico pro show.
Just a week after the 2019 New York Pro, the action continued in California and in Puerto Rico.
Tow athletes made the trip to Puerto Rico to attempt to better their results from New York a week earlier.
John DeLaRosa finished fourth in New York in the open class while Eduardo Correa Da Silva finished in a controversial second. Many argued Eduardo was much better regarding condition when compared to the winner Ahmed Ashkanani.
The Puerto Rico show was a great opportunity for athletes to earn their ticket to the 2019 Olympia Weekend and this worked out perfectly for DeLaRosa and Correa as they both won their divisions.
The open bodybuilding class only had four competitors, but at the end of the night, John DeLaRosa was the best competitor and in return he earned his ticket to the Olympia. A missed opportunity for a number of athletes.
In the 212 class, the winner was Eduardo Correa. A great consolation for being robbed a victory in New York a week before. We will now be definitely seeing Edward at the 2019 Olympia and he will be a definite favorite for the 212 Olympia title.
