Training and Diet
Eddy explains that he does not have a specific training routine, preferring to shock his muscles every time he walks into the gym.
Focussing on his weak points, Eddy explains that he will train his weak body parts more frequently.
Eddy prefers to train with a medium weight, focusing on higher repetitions. When he prefers to lift heavy, Eddy will do 15-20 reps, making it a point to focus on the muscle with strict form.
In regards to his diet, Eddy is very relaxed. Eddy explains that he does not follow a specific diet and does not really count calories. Even though Eddy is very relaxed when it comes to counting calories, he does eat small portions of food, while keeping an eye on his protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake.
During a contest diet, Eddy lowers his carbohydrate intake, but he insists he never completely removes them from his diet.
During the offseason, Eddy basically eats whatever there is. He enjoys chicken, fries, and Rum Raisin Icecream, and the occasional good piece of steak. The Surinamese menu is Eddy’s favorite selection of food.
Future Goals
Eddy still has a lot to give to the sport of professional bodybuilding, as he is planning to compete at the IFBB Elite Pro Mr. Pro World Championships in Dubai and the IFBB Elite Pro World Championships in Real Madrid at the Arnold Sports Festival Europe.
