PRODUCT REVIEW: Kaged Muscle Ferodrox.
From Kaged Muscle comes Ferodrox, their leading testosterone support matrix.
It helps you:
- Naturally support testosterone levels
- Enhance libido
- Reduce cortisol
As you can see, it’s not just about directly stimulating your body to produce more testosterone.
Ferodrox also aims to keep your T levels up by reducing stress hormones. It also boosts your libido, which is always a plus.
In our Kaged Muscle Ferodrox review, we’ll put this T booster through rigorous testing. This includes inspecting the ingredients and testing for side effects to see if it’s worth your time and money.
Without further ado – let’s begin.
Pros and Cons
We like that Kaged Muscle Ferodrox only features high-quality, patented ingredients. These include KSM-66 Ashwagandha and OptiZinc among others.
The formula is strong enough to help you prevent losing testosterone due to stress, but it doesn’t seem potent enough to enhance your natural testosterone production. We also don’t feel like DIM is the best ingredient out there. It has been shown to cause your estrogen levels to rise in some cases (more on that below).
- Patented and high-quality ingredients
- Helps prevent drops in testosterone due to stress or physical exertion
- May boost libido
- Solid value for money
- Missing boron, vitamin D, Mucuna, and other critical ingredients
- DIM can convert your testosterone to estrogen
Who Makes Ferodrox?
Ferodrox is produced by Kaged Muscle. They are a sports supplement company that offers a wide range of products, with Ferodrox being their leading testosterone booster.
Their main selling point is the safety and quality of their ingredients.
Sure, most supplement companies claim the same, however, Kaged Muscle actually walk their talk. They only use patented ingredients that were produced in certified facilities, along with using optimal and safe doses.
For example, Ferodrox features patented forms of zinc and ashwagandha. These went through numerous trials and tests before they were deemed safe and effective for supplementation.
There are also no proprietary blends in Kaged Muscle products, everything is transparent. We like this policy and believe more supplement companies should follow the same principles.
Ferodrox aims to raise your testosterone through a number of ways:
- Reduces estrogen
- Supports healthy cortisol balance (aka reduce stress)
- Supports natural testosterone production
It achieves these benefits by reducing the conversion of your testosterone to the female sex hormone. It also stimulates your Leydig cells to produce more T, along with fighting cortisol which lowers the male hormone.
But will Ferodrox really work for you?
The answer lies in its ingredients.
Kaged Muscle Ferodrox Ingredients
Ferodrox formula is an interesting one, to say the least.
With zinc and Ashwagandha leading the way, this T booster mainly focuses on reducing your stress levels. This can indirectly boost testosterone.
Now, ingredients like Shijalit and LongJack may be great libido enhancers, but the evidence on their testosterone-boosting properties is poor. As a result, we think that Ferodrox formula could’ve been much stronger if they included proven ingredients instead of those with just rumors going for them.
Zinc is for a testosterone booster what caffeine is for a fat burner. While caffeine prevents fatigue and accelerates fat loss, zinc does the same with testosterone; preventing a drop in testosterone from intense physical strain while enhancing your muscle gains. A study with elite athletes showed that those who supplemented with zinc and trained hard maintained their T levels. By contrast, those who trained hard and didn’t have the benefits of zinc going for them had lower testosterone levels. (1)
Ashwagandha is an ingredient that has only recently become popular in testosterone boosters. That’s because emerging science shows how it can raise your strength, libido, and even testosterone levels. (2) The evidence still isn’t conclusive, but it looks promising. One thing Ashwagandha has been consistently proven to be good at, though, is reducing stress.(3)
LongJack, or Eurycoma Longifolia is a herb with libido-boosting effects. A small number of studies show it can also reduce estrogen. However, it’s not beneficial when it comes to raising your testosterone. We believe Ferodrox could’ve included much better ingredients in its place. (4)
DIM is often a part of testosterone boosters because it’s thought to reduce estrogen. But there’s a lot of conflict going on in regards to this ingredient. Some research shows it can actually do the opposite – raise your estrogen levels. (5, 6) While the evidence still isn’t conclusive, we believe it’s safer to avoid DIM until more research confirms its effects. Instead, I3C would be a better choice as it’s a parent molecule to DIM and a few other compounds that occur naturally together in vegetables, and together, they work better at reducing estrogen than DIM in isolation. (7)
The main benefits of Shijalit come from its active compound Fulvic Acid. It may help improve fertility and testosterone in infertile men. But we don’t know if it can do the same in healthy men. Including Shijalit in Ferodrox was kind of a gamble; we don’t really know if it works and what its exact effects are. It would be smarter if this testosterone booster included a proven ingredient like boron or vitamin D. (8)
Bioperine is always good to see. It’s a bioavailability enhancer, which means it helps your body absorb more of the other ingredients in Ferodrox. It doesn’t work with all ingredients, but with some, it could be beneficial. (9)
Overall, the formula of Kaged Muscle Ferodrox is more than solid. What’s most impressive about it is the care they put into their ingredients. Quality and safety are great, with the exception of DIM which in our opinion has no place in a testosterone booster. Instead, Ferodrox could’ve included some of our favorite T-boosting ingredients:
- Boron – Enhances testosterone production at doses 10mg or higher per day (10)
- Vitamin D – Essential for building muscle & strength (11)
- Mucuna Pruriens – Raises your motivation to train harder and eat cleaner. It’s also shown to stimulate testosterone release. (12)
- Indole-3-Carbinol – Naturally breaks down into DIM and other compounds in your body. Together they work to reduce your estrogen levels. I3C is shown to be more reliable than taking DIM alone. (13)
How to Take (Dosage)
You are instructed to take 2 capsules of Ferodrox once per day with food.
Alternatively, you may also take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.
We like the 2nd option better because it allows for the ingredients to build up in your body. 3 servings per day would be even better as it ensures a constant supply of nutrients to your system.
Kaged Muscle Ferodrox Side Effects
Most of the ingredients in Kaged Muscle Ferodrox are completely safe. We like that they use patented ingredients which just goes to show their dedication to the safety and reliability of their formula.
With that said, there’s one thorn in our side – DIM.
It’s an ingredient that causes a lot of controversy among experts and researchers. Some of them found that DIM can make your testosterone turn to female sex hormones, which is not a good thing. This can potentially make you gain belly fat and even ‘man boobs’.
We would much rather prefer if they included Indole-3-Carbinol instead, which is a more natural compound that was shown to be safe and effective at reducing estrogen.

There are over 50 Ferodrox reviews on Amazon. The average rating there is 4.3 out of 5 stars, which is impressive.
Let’s check what some of the users had to say:
“Have noticed improved libido. Not much else after 2 bottles. Taking 2 weeks off which is recommended. I will see if I notice anything that changes and decide on repurchasing.” – Jeff (Amazon Customer)
“Keeps me energized and recover from a hard day’s work and workout.” – Anonymous Amazon Customer
“I have been taking this testosterone support supplement for about a month so far and have since noticed an increase in energy, strength, endurance and, best of all, libido! With my diet and training on point, I have leaned out faster than usual. I highly recommend you give it a try.” – Aaron (Amazon Customer)
“Not bad, not great. Not seriously noticeable testosterone support, but decent enough to know they aren’t sugar pills. In my opinion, there are better options for less. I am a huge fan of Kaged products and use their other supplements.” – James Williford (Amazon Customer)
Kaged Muscle sometimes offers discounts on Ferodrox, so the price can vary between $39-49. In both cases, it’s an excellent price for 30 servings considering the quality of this product. You can’t really get much better than that for this kind of money. Of course, there are better testosterone boosters out there, but they also cost a bit more.
Is Kaged Muscle Ferodrox Good Value For Money?
As we concluded, yes, Kaged Muscle Ferodrox is good value for money. It’s as good as it gets for $39. While it’s not as potent as the more premium testosterone boosters, if you aren’t willing to spend money for the best results possible, Kaged Muscle Ferodrox will still offer you some decent benefits.
Kaged Muscle Ferodrox is one of the more solid testosterone boosters we’ve come across.
If you’re looking to enhance your libido, energy levels, and perhaps prevent a loss of testosterone from intense exercise, then Ferodrox is a great choice.
It uses ashwagandha and zinc that help to reduce your stress levels. And it has no proprietary blends.
However, it’s missing a few key ingredients such as boron, vitamin D, and I3C. There’s also the concern with DIM which can increase your estrogen.
All in all, it’s more than a decent T booster. But if you’re looking for something stronger, make sure to do your research before buying it.
