Flex forward 2021 olympia

Flex Lewis looking forward to 2021 Mr. Olympia.

It’s official, the 7X 212 Olympia winner Flex Lewis has confirmed that he will be starting his prep for the 2021 Mr. Olympia on 1 February, 2021.

Flex Lewis made the decision to move up to the open class for the 2020 Mr. Olympia, but unfortunately just weeks before his debut on the Mr. Olympia stage, he had to pull out.

Flex Lewis had some recurring injuries that had to be taken care of and the best decision was to rest and recover for the 2021 season.

Until his recent announcement, it was still not known if Flex would return to the competition stage again.

Flex would have been one of the main challengers for Brandon Curry’s Mr. Olympia title in 2020, but 2021 will see Flex battling the new Mr. Olympia Big Ramy.

Flex is known to pack a lot of muscle on his small frame and with having no weight restriction as in the 212 division, we will be seeing new version of the Welsh Dragon.

Under the guidance his mentor and coach, Neil Hill, Flex will again be one of the main contenders to challenge Big Ramy for his title.

Big Ramy will surely be the bigger man on stage, but the bodybuilding world already know what Flex is capable of doing when it comes to a balance of size and condition.

Flex is already known to be consistent when it comes to condition and size compared to Big Ramy.

“February 1st the countdown to @mrolympiallc training begins!…I am excited for this next chapter!” – Flex Lewis

Big Ramy is well known for not being consistent when it comes to condition at major competitions. 2021 will be a big test for the Mr. Olympia champion.

Dennis James and Chad Nicholls know they have to push Big Ramy to present a better physique for the 2021 Mr. Olympia, anything less will be fatal for the big Egyptian.

Size alone will not save Big Ramy and a competitor with the experience as Flex Lewis can easily expose Big Ramy’s faults.

Flex Lewis published a message on his official social media pages, confirms that he is already focused on his goal to be the first ever 212 and open class Mr. Olympia winner.

“February 1st the countdown to @mrolympiallc training begins!
Since August I have followed the game plan, listen to my doctors, medical professionals, coach and wife and that count down turned into something like a kid waiting on Christmas Day!!!
As promised I will document this whole process showing the good, the bad, and what ever happens in between. Soon I will be dropping the first video showing my trip to Colombia and getting my stem cells.
I can’t thank all my fans, followers and friends for there support these last few months. I am excited for this next chapter! #Mrolympia2021 #Offseason Flex Lewis
