In his latest interview, Big Ramy answers the critics that complained about his ‘Special Invite’ and the others who did not believe he tested positive for Covid-19′.
The only contest that Big Ramy had the opportunity to compete in was the 2020 Arnold Classic USA. He managed to place third.
It was not the result Big Ramy was aiming for, but he started his contest season with valuable points to qualify for the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
The next competition that Big Ramy was preparing for was the Arnold Classic Australia.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 crisis, show promoter Tony Doherty had to cancel the event.
Big Ramy was going into the show as one of the favorites and it was a great opportunity to qualify for the 2020 Mr. Olympia denied.
After the Arnold Classic Australia disaster, Big Ramy was stuck in Dubai, away from his family for five months.
To add more to his problems, just before stepping onstage for the 2020 Europa Show, Big Ramy tested positive for Covid-19.
With all this happening to Big Ramy, the 2017 Mr. Olympia Runner-up looked to be a great candidate for the Mr. Olympia ‘Special Invite’.
Obviously, before just giving out a ‘Special Invite’, the Olympia organizers have to take in consideration all the athletes that are in contention for such a opportunity.
With Big Ramy’s contest history, popularity and situation, he only can bring positivity to the Olympia brand.
In the same week, the Olympia organizers suffered a huge setback with the news of Flex Lewis pulling out from the contest due to injury.
Big Ramy being included in the competitors list helped with the disappointment of Flex Lewis pulling out.
Ramy’s most harsh critics cannot deny that he is still one of the most popular bodybuilders in the world.
Big Ramy brings with him a fan base bigger than any other bodybuilder on the Olympia stage. The Mr. Olympia can only get better with such an athlete on the stage.
Regarding his chances of winning the Mr. Olympia, Big Ramy says he is going to the Mr. Olympia to win.
While he says he feels privileged to compete against the best in the world, he still only has one aim and that is to lift the 2020 Mr. Olympia title.
Any bodybuilding reporter or fan can admit that if Big Ramy steps on stage at his best, it will be very difficult to defeat him.
Ramy presents the perfect package, size with a small waist. The only problem that Big Ramy has is condition.
Hopefully, his coach Chad Nicholls will finally find the perfect solution for Big Ramy.
