Golden era bodybuilding legend John Bubb passes away.
The bodybuilding world lost another bodybuilding legend. John Bubb, a popular bodybuilder from the UK, passed away at 88.
John continued to train throughout his life, promoting a healthy lifestyle. John was a perfect example that you are never too old to hit the gym.
John Hubb competed during the ‘Golden Age’ of bodybuilding. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Pearl, Reg Park, Sergio Oliva, and Dave Draper were in their prime and John competed against all of them.
The best placing for John was in 1968 when he placed second to Arnold Schwarzenegger, at the Mr. Universe Tall Class event. Arnold went on to win the overall NABBA title.
John competed with NABBA for the majority of his career and once with the IFBB in 1971.
