Historical IFBB Mr. Universe returns… Asia hosts inaugural event
The historical IFBB MR. Universe has returned after a long absence from the sport of bodybuilding.
IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja and his Executive committee, decided to expand this event all over the world. Instead of a single event, this event will be organized all over the world, giving every athletes the chance to compete on the world stage.
The first event was organized in Pune, India, 15-18 April, 2022. The event was called the 2022 IFBB Mr. & Ms. Universe India and Fitness Pune Festival.
The Mr. Universe event was a IFBB Elite Pro card qualifier and also it is an IFBB International Ranking Qualifier.
The event was open to all IFBB Affiliated National Federations Worldwide.
Hundreds of athletes registered for the event, with the goal to win this prestigious event and also earn their IFBB Elite Pro status.
The next event will be the Mr. Universe Europe. This event will take place in Prague, 20-22 May, 2022.
