IFBBPA MAVS Charity Classic – Austin USA.

In his second IFBB Physique America promotion in 2018, the MAVS Charity Classic in Austin, Promoter Justin Bohannan put on a spectacular event with over 50 competitors at the beautiful Austin Film Society Theater in Austin, Texas.

In keeping to his word, two athletes were selected, one male and one female, to represent the United States and IFBB Physique America at the Arnold Classic Europe in Barcelona, Spain, in late September. Air travel and hotel will be provided for both athletes by Justin Bohannan and IFBB Physique America.

The two winners, Brandon Wadas of Indiana and Kali Nakvinda of Oklahoma, won in tight competitive competitions.  The fact that each of the winners came from outside of Texas shows the scope and magnitude that IFBBPA has achieved in such a short period of time.

Special accolades must go to Promoter Justin Bohannan. A ten-year military vet, Justin promotes the competition along with other ancillary weekend events with the total profits going to the MAVS charity. MAVS stands for Make A Vet Sweat. This charity gives 100% of the funds raised to buy gym memberships to vets returning from combat.

A simple item, such as a gym membership is not provided by the US Government or the US Veterans Administration.  A gym membership, that most of us take for granted, is an important tool to help a returning military veteran to cope with the mental or physical harm done by war. IFBBPA is proud and honored to have Justin Bohannan as part of our organization and to be Chairman of IFBBPA Texas and Oklahoma.
