PRODUCT REVIEW: Impel Nutrition Chiseled Fat Burner.
Chiseled is a brand new fat burner from a brand new company called Impel Nutrition. It’s marketed as an “Intense Caffeine-free Thermogenic.”
In other words, it’s free or stimulants and claims to help you boost the metabolism by heating the body up from the inside.
It uses 12 ingredients, all of which are natural. They will apparently help you:
- Boost fat naturally
- Enhance mental focus & relaxation
- Support metabolism without the jitteriness of stimulants
As always, we’ll dive into the ingredients and side effects in this Impel Nutrition review to see how accurate those claims are.
Pros and Cons
- Stimulant-free, doesn’t cause jitters or anxiety
- Ashwagandha & Bioperine are great choices
- Uses ingredients that flush excess water
- Lacks some core ingredients, such as Garcinia Cambogia
- Compared to some other fat burners, it’s not the best value for money
Who Makes This Fat Burner?
Impel Nutrition is a supplement company started in 2019. At the time of writing this, they have three products in their range; including the fat burner Chiseled, the pre-workout GSD Pre, and the amino acid supplement LINKD.
Their website looks relatively basic with little info about the company itself. In that regard, it’s probably better to focus on their things that are more concrete – such as, Chiseled’s benefits & ingredients.
The combination of ingredients in Chiseled aims to help you with:
- Mental relaxation
- Enhanced thermogenesis
- Reduced water retention
- Fat loss support
Since it’s free of caffeine or other stimulants, you won’t get that trademark energy ‘kick’. However, feel free to combine it with caffeine if you want.
As for the ingredient profile itself, it looks pretty good. The formula is loaded with 12 different ingredients, all of which show their doses on the label.
You will notice that there’s no caffeine or other stimulants in the mix, which makes this product ‘stackable’ with other fat burners.
However, it’s not all perfect with Chiseled. There are a few inclusions that we didn’t like. It’s also missing a few of our favorite fat burning ingredients; you can find out more below.
Chiseled’s formula is off to a good start with Ashwagandha.
This ingredient is also known as an adaptogen. It helps your body to adapt to the effects of stress and can improve your energy levels.
This is not our favorite ingredient for a fat burner. It’s not proven to work in clinical studies, unless you have a carnitine deficiency (which is very rare). (1)
Dandelion is a diuretic, which means, it flushes out excess water from the body. Unfortunately, it doesn’t affect your stored body fat. (2)
Forskolin works by boosting the levels of a compound called cAMP. This is shown to have positive effects on fat loss in studies. (5)
Not the strongest ingredient we’ve seen, but it’s a decent choice nonetheless.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha Lipoic Acid can help with certain things, such as blood sugar regulation. It’s not on our list of the most effective fat burning ingredients, though.
This is patented Cayenne pepper. It’s a good ingredient. It has the potential to increase your metabolism so you can burn more calories. (3)
Astralagus is often included in supplements of this kind. However, the research doesn’t look overly convincing at this point. We feel there are more reliable options to include in its place.
Grains of Paradise
Grains of Paradise has been gaining popularity for its supposed weight loss benefits. While we like it, this ingredient isn’t as effective as Garcinia Cambogia or other proven fat loss ingredients.
Structurally, Theobromine is similar to caffeine. However, the difference is that Theobromine is non-stimulating and doesn’t really burn fat; it only acts as a diuretic.
Black Pepper Extract
Black Pepper Extract is a supporting ingredient in this formula. It helps with the absorption of other compounds. (4)
Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract
This is a shrub that grows in West Africa. It’s not a very common fat burning ingredient due to a lack of research behind its purported benefits.
Impel Nutrition Chiseled uses some great ingredients. However, we think it’d be even better if it had a proven appetite suppressant like Garcinia Cambogia, along with a highly effective fat burner such as green tea extract.
How to Take (Dosage)
Impel Nutrition Chiseled dosage is 1 pill to start with. Once you’ve assessed your tolerance, you can take up to 3 capsules per day in total.
As it contains no stimulants, Chiseled is a fairly safe fat burner. It does have a few ingredients with a lack of research behind their effects, though.
Price and Value For Money?
Chiseled is available to buy through the official website, as well as other online 3rd party shops.
One bottle with 90 capsules will cost you $49.99. It can last you up to 3 months if you only take one capsule per day; however, the effects won’t be that impressive.
Conclusion on Impel Nutrition Chiseled Review
On the whole, Chiseled is a pretty well-built fat burner. It’s not extreme like some aggressive fat burners, and it doesn’t have any stimulants.
Some folks will like it, others won’t. Ultimately, it depends on what you’re after. It will give you more energy, and it can help you lose some water weight to reduce bloating.
But if you’re looking to directly target fat and reduce your food cravings, then there are better options to look for.
