Jim Manion pay Representative

Jim Manion should pay the Athletes Representative

The Athletes Rep, has been the main topic for the last two weeks on all the major bodybuilding media channels.

It all started when Foaud Abiad made some comments on his podcast about the Athletes Rep. In return, Bob Cicherillo responded on his own podcast.

Bob Cicherillo has confirmed that he has been the Athletes Rep for approximately the last 20 years. Many in the media do not want to believe this, but it is true.

In his latest podcast, Fouad Abiad continued to discuss the Athletes Rep topic with Guy Cisternino.

Fouad made a interesting and controversial suggestion that the Athletes Rep should be paid.

Bob Cicherillo is on record confirming that he has never been paid or made any financial gain by being the Athletes Rep.

Fouad continued to explain that if the Athletes Rep is not paid, using Bob as an example, he is not obligated to do anything, but if he is paid, he has to help the athlete. If he does not do a good job, then he must be replaced.

Cisternino and Fouad also alleged that the membership fee for the NPC or Pro League should be increased to cover the expense of the Athletes Rep’s wage.

Jim Manion is the person that has to pay the Athletes Rep

It is very amusing when we hear the majority of the media that supports the NPC/Pro League talk about a controversial situation. They never mention Jim Manion, they refer to it as the federation.

The NPC/Pro League is not a federation, it is a private family business, owned by Jim Manion. A bodybuilding federation is the IFBB that has Dr Rafael Santonja as President.

The media that are loyal to the NPC/Pro League, fail to realize that allegedly nobody is voted in their position, they are allegedly hand picked by the Manion family.

For example, nobody voted for Tyler Manion to become Vice-President of the NPC/Pro League. A number of other high profile figures within the NPC/Pro League, with much more experience, could have held that position.

Getting back to the Athletes Rep, it is pointless saying that the NPC/Pro League should pay the Athletes Rep, at the end of the day, Jim Manion has to pay the wage of the Athletes Rep.

The NPC/Pro League should respect all the work that Bob Cicherillo has done as an Athletes Rep. This man has never been paid and if he was, Bob would have made some decent money.

Nobody should do such work for free and whoever holds the position of Athletes Rep, should be paid.

Can Jim Manion afford paying the Athletes Rep? There is no doubt that Jim Manion and the NPC/Pro League can afford to pay the wage of an Athletes Rep.

The Manion family allegedly make a very large profit at the end of the year. The income comes from sanction and membership fees, and allegedly a percentage of registration fees from every contest.

Plus, it was recently revealed that the promoters have a new fee to pay to the NPC. The promoters have to allegedly pay to the NPC, $5 per athlete that registers for a competition.

Money is definitely not a problem.

Fouad’s entire podcast is at the end of this article.

How will Jim Manion react after hearing Fouad Abiad’s comments?

If Evolutionofbodybuilding.net suggested that the Athletes Rep get paid by Manion, it would have been a different story, threats would have allegedly been made towards the website and this site would have allegedly been accused of promoting negativity.

This time, Jim Manion’s own people suggested that the Athletes Rep should be paid and it will be interesting to see the outcome after Fouad’s comments.

Fouad has the right to express his opinion on his own podcast, and we praise him for that, but when Evolutionofbodybuilding.net expresses their opinion, the site gets banned from NPC/Pro League and advertisers are allegedly threatened not to invest in this website.

After Bob Cicherillo published numerous videos to explain the Athletes Rep situation, Jim Manion or any other representative of the NPC/Pro League, failed to support him. Bob was left to defend himself and this is a sad situation.

Who can do the job as Athletes Rep?

At the time of publishing this article, Bob Cicherillo is the Athletes Rep. In a number of podcasts, there have been a number of suggestion of who should replace Bob Cicherillo.

Are the people being mentioned ready to work side by side the NPC;/Pro League and get involved in numerous problems the athletes are having.

Disgruntled athletes after a competition, athletes livid after they don’t win their pro card, accusations of poor judging and the list goes on.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net can confirm that Bob Cicherillo does does work as an Athletes Rep and he does everything possible to help the athletes.

At the same time, Cicherillo helps the NPC/Pro League to create new opportunities for the athletes.

A good suggestion was that maybe there should be an Athletes Rep for the female divisions within the NPC/Pro League.

With all that has been heard and said, the Athletes Rep should be paid and Bob Cicherillo should be compensated for all the work he has done in the past and present.

The NPC/Pro League should as well have a contact displayed on their websites and social media in a prominent position indicating who their Athletes Rep is and how to contact him.

Surely, this debate will continue to go on for the rest of the year and Jim Manion will have some questions to answer and decisions to make.
