2017 Arnold Classic South Africa – Lukas Osladil not participating
The winner of the 2017 Arnold Classic South America, Lukas Osladil will not be participating at the 2017 Arnold Classic South Africa.
One of the favorites coming into the show, he is not missing the contest because of injury or sickness, but because he had ‘no vaccination against yellow fever’.
Lukas went on to say that it is bad news for him and good news for his competition. Showing the confidence he had going into the show.
Lukas left a detailed explanation on his official Instagram page:
Unfortunately I won’t compete at Arnold Classic South Africa this Saturday because at the airport on my way to Johannesburg yesterday they told me I am not allowed to travel there because of no vaccination against yellow fever. If I knew I have to get it before I flew to Brazil I would get it. But they just said-you can but dont have to… So I spent 10 days in Sao Paulo getting ready for AC South Africa and my condition was going to be a little beter than in Brazil…. But I just cant fly to Johannesburg and compete. So for me is a bad news but for others who are competing is a good news. So I am going to have one month of little rest now and then I’ll start my prep for The Olympia 2017. I want to thank to my good sponsor Evl’s and my coach George Farah for a great job ! And also big thank to Arnold Schwarzenegger who gave me the big Cup for The Arnold Classic Brazil 2017 victory!
