Martin Fitzwater vs Nick Walker – The debate continues.

Martin Fitzwater or Nick Walker – Who is better? The debate continues over a week after Nick Walker won his second New York Pro title on 18 May 2024.

Leading up to the 2024 New York Pro, all bets were on Nick Walker to take home the title, prize money, and the prestigious New York Pro ring, but it was a very different scenario when all the competitors stepped on stage.

It was evident who the top athletes would be, as Walker, Fitzwater, and defending champion, Tonio Burton, stood out above the rest of the lineup.

As the show continued, all eyes focused on Martin Fitzwater, with many predicting that Martin could cause a major upset and defeat Nick Walker.

While Nick Walker had the edge over Martin in size, Martin was the more aesthetic bodybuilder.

According to IFBB Pro League Vice-President, Tyler Manion, Nick Walker edged out Martin Fitzwater by just one point.

The outcome would have been very different if we judged Nick and Martin based on symmetry, proportion, shape, and muscular presentation.

Nick Walker is a fantastic bodybuilder, and is a favorite to place in the top five at the 2024 Mr. Olympia, but Martin should have won the 2024 New York Pro, if the judges followed the correct judging criteria.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net is not the only media outlet that believes the outcome should have been in Martin’s favor, even veteran bodybuilders and bodybuilding historians, Shawn Ray and Bob Cicherillo explained in detail how Martin Fitzwater should have won the 2024 New York Pro.

On the latest edition of the VOB Podcast, Bob and Shawn, believe the one-point decision should have gone in Fitzwater’s favor.

Nick Walker will continue to be a dominant force in the sport of bodybuilding, but Fitzwater aesthetically, has the advantage in the majority of poses.

When it’s time to step on the Mr. Olympia stage, Nick Walker will not only have to worry about placing higher than Samson Dauda, Brandon Curry, Hadi Choopan, and defending champion, Derek Lunsford, but he will also have to keep an eye on Martin Fitzwater, who can easily surpass him. Hunter Labrada, Andrew Jacked, and other athletes still have to earn their qualification for the event.

The 2024 Mr. Olympia judging panel will be completely different, and there is a chance that this could be in Martin Fitzwater’s favor.

Facts cannot be denied, Martin Fitzwater will be one of the most balanced and aesthetically pleasing bodybuilders on the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage.

It will be a very exciting build-up to the 2024 Mr. Olympia, with the rivalry heating up between Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater.
