Military Muscle Testosterone Booster

Military Muscle Testosterone Booster Review.

When it comes to bodybuilding supplements, we are keen to understand which one is top of the pile, this way we can all benefit and pack on slabs of lean muscle tissue.

A friend of the site gave us a nudge and mentioned that he had seen some great results from a military-safe testosterone booster called Military Muscle. We had previously noticed some rave reviews of this product and were interested in its Trustpilot profile due to its high score from verified customers.

Military Muscle is fairly new, it’s been around since 2019, and instead of going straight in, we wanted to understand what the market was saying, and so far, it has been overwhelmingly positive.

Therefore, we wanted to give it a try ourselves and really see if it lives up to the hype!

Who Makes Military Muscle?

It’s always good to do some prior background research before trying a new supplement, why? Because then you get an idea of what motivated its development.

Is it just a company trying to cash in on a trend such as CBD and goji berry gummies, or is there a real reason and purpose behind the product? Additionally, what are their credentials?

Anyone can hit up a manufacturer and stick a label on a ready-made formula then sell it on Amazon (one good reason to avoid these types of online marketplaces) without doing any prior research.

Do you want to buy a product from a company that is the clone of another 1000+ products with the only difference being the name or label design? Furthermore, do you want to buy something from someone who has no experience, desire, involvement in sport, fitness, or nutrition?

So, it was with great relief when doing the background research that we found out the company behind Military Muscle was Mil-Tech Pharma. These guys are based in the UK and USA and lead by a guy called Ben who is greatly involved in fitness, sport, and weightlifting, not only that he is an active-duty soldier, holds a bachelor’s degree, and a postgraduate degree in sport and exercise nutrition! They have even got a male fertility product available called Fertiligy, read our review of that, here.

Furthermore, this testosterone booster was developed for the extreme athlete in mind, those involved in arduous training regimes, and was developed in conjunction with soldiers and athletes.

As we can see, there’s some great pedigree!

Key Benefits

Muscle Recovery – How do you get bigger and stronger muscles? You overload them, but they only grow from active recovery, without recovery there’s no growth.

Libido – Athletes can experience a loss of libido and sexual desire; Military Muscle combats this problem.

Reduces Inflammation – High inflammation is the root of many chronic diseases.

When you dig deep into the nutrient profile, it becomes clear that each ingredient has been chosen to offer a wide variety of benefits that will not just increase testosterone but work cohesively to enhance overall performance.

Does it work?

Our initial thoughts are very positive, the company behind the product is being very open, very clear, and keen to explain how and why their product is the best on the market to build muscle and strength.

They offer a guarantee, it is safe for military and athlete use, the supplement is vegan friendly and they even explain why their capsules are transparent (reduces the risk of toxicity from food colorings).

Who is Military Muscle aimed at?

The name aside, this supplement is aimed at anyone involved in sports and fitness.

That’s a pretty wide demographic, but this is reflected by their decision to ensure that not only is it legal for use by professionals, but also meat-free, and therefore it captures a much wider audience, including both genders.

In fact, the guys at Mil-Tech Pharma said that a large proportion of their customers are female.

As we have previously touched on, the guy behind the company is in the army, he is also involved in lots of other sports including rugby, Jiu-jitsu and cross-country skiing, etc.

He said his aim was to produce a product that could help him maintain his training regime as he got older and noticed the effects of his levels of natural testosterone becoming lower.

Put simply, if you train regularly or are physically active, you do not want to overlook Military Muscle!

Research

Testosterone levels naturally drop over time, this is true for both men and women. Men tend to have levels of testosterone that are 15 times greater than women. [1]

However, it is this higher level of testosterone that gives men their defining features and characteristics that separate them from women, such as:

  • Broader shoulders
  • Narrower hips
  • Less body fat
  • Higher lean muscle mass
  • Deeper voice
  • Body hair

A reduction of testosterone can also impact many areas of a person’s health, which may include a loss of performance, reduced mood, brittle bones, more body fat, reduced muscle mass, and changes to hair growth. [2]

It may come as no surprise that testosterone levels are at their highest for men when they are in their late teens (when they are at their fittest and most energetic) and then start to dwindle once they pass the age of around 30.

It’s once they get to around their 40’s when many men may start to notice changes, particularly in their physical appearance.

However, it’s not just age that can reduce testosterone levels, those who are very active or involved in professional sports can also see a reduction of testosterone due to the stresses placed on the body. [3]

Furthermore, research suggests that restoring testosterone production in men can be as effective as using synthetic androgen replacement methods and not reduce fertility. [4]

How does it work?

Military Muscle combined the use of vitamins and minerals with amino acids and plant extracts that all have clinical evidence to be beneficial at improving your overall performance.

Many people who are active lose lots of vitamins and minerals through sweat and urine, these can be difficult to replace, particularly when a typical western diet is consumed.

Furthermore, amino acids and plant extracts which are supported by clinical evidence have demonstrated their power to improve sleep, testosterone, reduce fat mass, anxiety, boost recovery and strength.

Nutritional Requirements

When looking at the studies regarding low testosterone there is a clear link between nutritional deficiencies and hormonal deficiency. [5]

This is particularly true for low vitamin D and low zinc levels. Unfortunately, few foods contain a wealth of vitamin D, and many do not get enough exposure to the sun, nor does a typical western diet consists of many leafy greens or seafood such as oysters.

A western diet does include high levels of saturated fats, sugars, salt, and processed meats which all contribute to high blood sugar levels and inflammation which is associated with low testosterone. [6]

Military Muscle addresses these issues by including high concentrations of nutrients that your body craves, plus additional proven compounds to reduce inflammation, stabilize blood sugar levels, and reduce oxidative stress.

Pros and Cons of Military Muscle

Few products are perfect, and no training regime is exactly the same, nor is everyone’s nutritional requirements, but it does seem that Military Muscle hits as many of the key points as possible to make this product as beneficial for most amount of people. I.e., very few will not experience extensive positive results.

So, for you to make an informed choice, here’s the nitty-gritty of what is good, and what isn’t so good:

Military Muscle Ingredients

Clearly, with this number of benefits, it would make sense to analyze the ingredients to see how each one works.

Vitamin A

Good sources of vitamin A are spinach, sweet potatoes, red peppers, mangos, and liver. Its benefits include strengthening the immune system, maintaining healthy skin, and helping with your vision, particularly in low lighting (perfect for soldiers at night).

Not only that but there’s a connection with testosterone, especially when paired with iron over a 6-month period whereby it has been demonstrated to be as effective as hormonal therapy. [7]

Vitamin D

There aren’t many food sources that contain vitamin D, eggs and mushrooms along with oily fish and fortified milk are great sources, but they may not be to everyone’s taste. The sun is the best source, but lots of people stay indoors or hide away from the sun due to the risk of skin cancer. As such, vitamin D deficiency is a global problem.

Low levels are vitamin D isn’t just bad news for your testosterone, but it can also affect your respiratory tract and prevent you from reducing the risk of illness, low vitamin D can also increase your risk of all-cause mortality. A university study recommends that athletes and military personnel take at least 1000iu daily. [8]

Vitamin K2

Just like vitamin A, you can find vitamin K in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and broccoli. Unfortunately, not everyone eats enough of these foods and research suggests that 97% of people are deficient. This is a shame because there’s evidence that vitamin K can treat a decline of testosterone. [9]

Iron

Athletes who are heavily involved in arduous training programs are prone to an iron deficiency, this can reduce hemoglobin levels which affects the amount of oxygen blood cells can carry. Too little can lead to fatigue and difficulties breathing.

This is not a good position to be in as an active person and the WHO state that around a quarter of the global population is iron deficient.

Iron deficiency anemia associated with sports correlates with low testosterone levels. [10]

Zinc

People who sweat a lot or lose lots of liquid through urinating tend to have lower levels of zinc in their body which can translate to reduced levels of testosterone. [11]

Additionally, for those people who are athletes, a zinc deficiency can also lead to bodyweight loss, fatigue, weaker bones, and even anorexia. [12]

Urtica Dioica Extract (Stinging Nettle)

Whilst you may not think it, the extracts of stinging nettle are recognized by the WHO as a valuable herb with medicinal purposes. That’s because it is an anti-inflammatory that is high in nutrients itself.

As well as those benefits, it also has a positive effect on preventing the conversion of androgens to estrogen, reduces the effects of benign prostatic hyperplasia, and can help increase testosterone levels. [13]

Boron

This mineral is found in foods such as nuts and potatoes which has clear links to bone formation, brain function, immunity, and reproductive development. It is found in quite small doses within these foods, for instance, to get the amount of boron provided in Military Muscle you would need to eat nearly a 1lb/500g of broccoli.

This is key because a study found that just 3 weeks of boron deprivation resulted in reduced physical performance, additionally, a 10mg daily dose has been demonstrated to increase testosterone levels. [14]

Mucuna Pruriens (Velvet Bean)

Like many of the plant extracts included in Military Muscle mucuna pruriens is great at reducing inflammation, this is a great addition because if inflammation is left untreated it can attack healthy tissues and organs resulting in disease.

Mucuna’s effects go further than just inflammation, it can reduce a hormone called prolactin, while prolactin is beneficial to pregnant mothers too much is known as hyperprolactinemia. This results in decreased testosterone and erectile dysfunction. [15]

Ashwagandha

Another plant extract, this time is alternatively known as withania somnifera, has traditionally been used to promote strength and endurance which modern-day science has confirmed being effective. [16]

Furthermore, while it also has the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects we would probably expect, it has proven itself to be an effective treatment to reduce stress and anxiety. [17]

D-Aspartic Acid

This is a natural amino acid that plays an important role in physiological functions. Its benefits are very dose-specific, so just taking more doesn’t mean it amplifies its effect, in fact, it can have the reverse effect.

It helps stimulate testosterone by sending messages from the brain to release and synthesize it. [18] Some results have shown to increase testosterone levels by 30-60% and also improve fertility among those who have unhealthy sperm.

Fenugreek

Sometimes called trigonella foenum-graecum, this herbal plant extract belongs to the same family as soy and reduces blood sugar levels by slowing down digestion.

The nutritional profile of fenugreek is also extensive, containing a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes.

As with most of these ingredients, the effects of fenugreek are dependant on the dose, Military Muscle is the master of this as they include the doses as stipulated by the studies.

Therefore, the provided 500mg per day has been shown to reduce fat mass and increase testosterone. [19]

How to take Military Muscle

We’ve already mentioned the importance of the correct dose for maximum benefit, and sometimes dosing more than recommended can have the same effect as not taking enough.

With this in mind, there is a very specific daily dose recommendation of 6 veggie caps per day. Initially, we found this a bit annoying, but we soon made it part of our routine and just taking the pills alongside our main meals.

These 6 pills contain 3850mg of the combined nutrient which is a hefty dose and far superior to many other products on the market.

So, you get 6 pills because it is a proven dose.

Price

A single bottle retails for $69 US dollars (other currencies may vary). However, we know that they offer discounts when you buy more bottles at once, this can reduce the price to $47 which is a great value. Then there’s the free nutrition and workout plans plus tee-shirts available.

Ben states that because best results are experienced after taking the product for 6 months or longer (based on science) that he didn’t want to price people out.

On top of this, they’ve introduced a loyalty scheme to reward those returning customers.

That means you collect points every time you make a purchase or share their content on social platforms. Put simply, if you buy 6 bottles you should have accumulated enough points for a FREE bottle.

That’s a good scheme in our eyes, and it sounds like they have a huge returning customer base who benefit from this.

Shipping

Guess what? Shipping is free anywhere in the world. Apparently, the only continent they haven’t sent Military Muscle to is Antarctica.

Where can I buy Military Muscle?

Only online and direct from their website. Because they offer free global shipping, it doesn’t matter where you are, you can get it sent to you.

Also, stay safe in the knowledge that you will get the genuine product and not a counterfeit from one of the online marketplaces, or worse still a readymade formula with a different label stuck on the bottle like many supplements on Amazon.

Buying direct also means you get the best price, day-in, day-out.

Benefits and Effects of Military Muscle

While this is a testosterone booster, it offers more than that. It helps reduces oxidative stress, anxiety, prolactin levels, and estrogen all of which contribute to improving free testosterone levels.

The team behind Military Muscle has done some very thorough research and ensured that they’ve matched the doses with those recognized by the clinical studies.

Side Effects

Overall, the risk of any side effects is minimal, however, if you have any concerns make sure you check with a medical professional.

This contains fenugreek so make sure you are not pregnant or breastfeeding if you want to use this product.

You may experience some side effects commonly experienced when testosterone is at its peak during puberty such as oily skin.

Generally speaking, the ingredients are very well tolerated, but this product is aimed at those who train to high intensity, duration, and frequency.

Customer Feedback

Unlike a lot of supplements, this company has an active Trustpilot page, and they are rated as ‘excellent’. This gives us even greater confidence in the product.

There are also some great testimonials on their site which you can see here (including videos) and even Google reviews.

Some of the featured quotes are as follows:

“After my most recent test, I have noticed an uptick in free testosterone production.”

“I saw incredible results within 40 days.”

“Great investment! Better stamina, energy, mood, and immune system.”

“This stuff works outstandingly, and I have even started sleeping better.”

Conclusion

This is one of the most complete test booster supplements we have come across, the customer reviews on Trustpilot speak for themselves. However, it is the extensive research and testing that has clearly gone into developing this product.

Would we expect any less? The man behind the product is in the army and has the qualifications to back up the product.

As a result, we have a very good and effective supplement that will help anyone either looking to start their fitness journey or those searching for that edge in their training.
