NABBA competitors allegedly trolled and harassed online.
Several athletes have contacted Evolutionofbodybuilding.net, informing this website that they are being trolled on social media and allegedly receiving emails from loyal members of Jim Manion’s NPC and Pro League.
The majority of these actions are taking place in Australia, where the 2025 NABBA World Amateur and Pro Championships are scheduled to take place on 8 June 2025.
NABBA has opened its doors to athletes from every federation and is also accepting athletes, who have achieved their pro status with other federations, to compete at the NABBA Pro World Championships.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net was informed by several athletes and people involved with NABBA that they are allegedly receiving emails and threats from Jim Manion’s NPC and Pro League Australian representatives, with threats that they will lose their pro status if they continue associating themselves with NABBA.
The majority of the athletes receiving these emails are inactive with the Pro League, meaning they have not paid their membership.
For some reason, the representatives of Jim Manion’s NPC and Pro League believe they still have total control over these athletes regarding where they compete and how they make a living.
Several athletes have already decided to sever ties with Jim Manion’s NPC and Pro League and continue their careers as independent athletes, but at the same time, show their loyalty to NABBA and other federations.

Immediately after the announcement was made that the 2025 NABBA World Pro and Amateur Championships would be held in Australia this June, professional athletes residing in Australia were excited about this announcement.
NABBA opened its doors to professional athletes from every federation, allowing pro athletes to compete on NABBA’s world stage.
After this announcement, professional athletes started to show interest, but several were allegedly immediately contacted by Jim Manion’s Pro League representatives in Australia.
From emails to social media posts, these athletes continued to allegedly be threatened that they would lose their pro status with Jim Manion’s Pro League, even those that were inactive, meaning they did not pay their yearly membership.
While Jim Manion’s Pro League representatives will deny these claims, several athletes have sent Evolutionofbodybuilding.net the social media messages and emails they received, it is useless to refute these claims.
The biggest bodybuilding event in Australia, which was organized by Jim Manion’s Australian Pro League representative, Tony Doherty, was last held in 2019.
But after the pandemic and financial difficulties, Doherty has allegedly never managed to get back on his feet.
Schwarzenegger went on to take total control of the Arnold Classic empire, severing ties with the Lorimer family, and allegedly Tony Doherty was cut out as well.
With no major pro events being organized, the NABBA World Pro Championships is a great option for pro athletes in Australia who want to step on the pro stage, without traveling overseas.
Leading up to the event, several athletes can expect to allegedly receive threats from various prominent figures in Australia who believe that they own the athletes.
Some have complained that this site is only focusing on what Jim Manion’s Pro League doing with their athletes, but the reality is that they are the ones. allegedly being aggressive on social media, sending emails to the pro athletes, and involving Tony Blinn, Tony Doherty, and other top representatives.
What Jim Manion and his representatives can’t understand is that they do not own the athletes, they pay to compete in their competitions and are not employed by them. They are legally free to earn a living any way they please.
