New rules for IFBB Pro Grand Slam Events.
The IFBB Pro division of the IFBB have released a new set of rules associated with the new series of Grand Slam professional events.
The IFBB Pro division has sky rocketed in popularity during the 2024 season, transitioning smoothly from the former name IFBB Elite Pro.
During the 2025 competitive season, the Grand Slam events will consist of four major events with a very lucrative prize fund.
The four Grand Slam events are the Siberian Pro, Roger Boyce Pro, IFBB Mr. World, and finally the IFBB Pro World Championships.
How to qualify for the Grand Slam events
- Performance in Two Qualifying Events:
– Win one event and place in the top 3 in another.
– If the winner has already qualified, the spot will go to the second-place finisher. - Automatic Qualification for Grand Slam Winners:
– Winners of any Grand Slam event can compete in any Grand Slam the following year. - Top 3 Finishers in Previous Grand Slam Editions:
– If you finish in the top 3 of a Grand Slam event, you can compete in the same event the following year. - Consistent Top 3 Placements
– Finish in the top 3 of at least three qualifying events - Direct Invitation
– Receive a direct invitation from a Grand Slam organizer. - Ranking Invitations
– The two highest-ranked competitors who have not already qualified through the above methods will receive invitations to the Grand Slam. - The rules are applicable from January 2025.
