Nick Walker shares physique update.
Bodybuilding champion Nick Walker shared his latest physique update, approximately 10 weeks post Olympia.
Nick had to pull out from the 2023 Mr. Olympia due to a serious hamstring injury, which also affected his calf muscle.
This was a horrible situation for Walker, as he knew he was a favorite to challenge for the Mr. Olympia title, and even defeat Hadi Choopan to be crowned Mr. Olympia.
Rather than shut down everything, Nick continued to push forward and remained in contest condition.
With his champion mentality, Nick started the 2024 season on a positive note, and his determination and hard work ethic are showing, mentally and physically.
Nick has a great team behind him, starting with his family, Guy Cisternino, and Matt Jansen, his coach, will only push Nick further ahead.
In his latest Instagram post, Nick shared a physique update that is approximately 10 weeks post Olympia.
In his post, Nick was very positive and stated he will be ready.
“About 10 weeks post Olympia update, weight is up to 274 this morning.”
“The goal is just to continue to maximize my recovery process as much as possible for the hamstring. Make the improvements where needed, and stay fully locked in. Staying in my daily routine. When the time comes I’ll be ready.”
Nick has not revealed what event he will be competing in to earn his 2024 Mr. Olympia qualification.
There have been suggestions that Nick might be waiting for a Mr. Olympia Special Invite, but if time starts to run out, Nick will have to step on stage and earn his Mr. Olympia qualification.
Bodybuilding legend Milos Sarcev has been trying to convince Nick Walker to compete at the 2024 Arnold Classic, but Nick is on record stating that he will not be competing at any of the Arnold Classic events in 2024.
Nick is focused on the Mr. Olympia, and his only goal is to add the Sandow trophy to his other prestigious victories, such as the Arnold Classic and New York Pro.
