Photos & Results: 2024 Arnold Classic Europe.
The 2024 Arnold Sports Festival Europe, or better known as the Arnold Classic Europe, took place at the Las Rozas, Madrid, Spain, 10-13 October, 2024.
This beautiful outdoor sport complex was the perfect venue for such a great event.
This was the 14th edition of the biggest Arnold Classic event out of the USA, cementing IFBB Dr. Rafael Santonja’s, and his wife Nieves’ great partnership and relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The event was open to all athletes worldwide representing IFBB-affiliated National Federations.
The event was an IFBB Pro qualifier, meaning athletes that obtain their pro status are eligible to compete on IFBB Pro’s exciting pro circuit, that organize events all over the world.
The 2024 Arnold Classic Europe was also a 2024 IFBB World Ranking Event.
With over 1000 athletes competing at this event, this confirms the popularity of bodybuilding and fitness worldwide.
The IFBB and IFBB Pro continue to expand its federation, adding more events each year, and increasing prize money for the pro events, thanks to the dedicated sponsors and promoters.
Award Distribution
• Top 6 athletes in each category will be awarded with medals.
• The winner in each category will be awarded with a trophy.
• Top 6 athletes in Men’s and Women’s Senior categories will be awarded with points to their 2024 IFBB World Ranking according to the IFBB World Ranking Rules. Overall winners will receive 2 points extra.
• IFBB Elite Pro Cards for the top 3 overall winners in these divisions: Men’s Physique, Classic Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Bodybuilding, Bodyfitness, Bikini and Wellness. Overall winner Master Bodybuilding, Master Bodyfitness, Master Bikini, Muscular Men’s Physique and Women’s Physique.
The 2024 Arnold Sports Festival Europe also catered to the IFBB Fitness Challenge and Speed Fit events.
The Fitness Challenge, a new superb fitness competition designed to test the resistance, endurance and strength of the athletes, in an intense rotary circuit of exercises.
Each athlete will have 2 minutes per exercise to perform as many repetitions as he/she can, with a 2 minutes pause between exercises to rest.
The main event of the weekend was the 2024 IFBB Pro World Championships, that took place on Saturday evening.
