The IFBB Mr. Universe is one of the most prestigious events in bodybuilding, with the most popular bodybuilders in the history of the sport participating in this event.

A few years ago, the IFBB decided to revamp this event and organize it worldwide. The revamped IFBB Mr. Universe has become one of IFBB’s most popular amateur and pro events on their contest schedule.

The next stop for the IFBB Mr. Universe event was in China, 22-24 May 2024.

The event took place in Chengdu China, at the Western China International Expo City.

The event was open to all national federations affiliated with the IFBB, and 18 IFBB Elite Pro cards were available to be won.

The event was also an IFBB International Ranking Qualifier, awarding points to the top athletes.
