The IFBB Mr. Universe event is one of bodybuilding’s most prestigious events in the history of the sport.
The next stop for the IFBB Mr. Universe was in Iraq, 16-19 May 2024. The IFBB has no boundaries when it comes to religion or culture and will organize an event in any country in the world.
With so many athletes from Iran having a very difficult task of traveling to other countries to compete, the IFBB took one of their most prestigious events to their home, in Iraq.
The event took place at the University of Sulaymaniyah Congress Hall, Iraq.
As expected a large number of athletes registered to compete at this event, with the majority coming from Iraq.
The athletes coming out of Iraq are at the highest level, and all have the opportunity to win the top events within the IFBB and IFBB Elite Pro.
The 2024 IFBB Mr. Universe Iraq was an IFBB Elite Pro qualifier and as well an IFBB International World Ranking qualifier, with points being awarded to the top-placing athletes.
16 IFBB Elite Pro cards were awarded across various categories.
