The historic and biggest men’s amateur bodybuilding event, the 2024 IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships took place in Iran, at the Kish City Hall, Kish Island.
The IFBB is celebrating the 78th edition of this historic event, with bodybuilding’s greatest athletes competing at this event at the beginning of their successful careers.
The event was open to all IFBB-Affiliated Nationals worldwide, giving athletes from all over the world the opportunity to compete on the world stage of bodybuilding.
The IFBB World Championships was an IFBB Pro qualifier, awarding the best athletes an opportunity to compete on IFBB’s existing pro circuit.
Iran’s Morteza Mahmoudi is the new IFBB World Bodybuilding champion, as he went on to win the men’s bodybuilding overall title.
The IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships never fails to impress, and continues to establish itself as the biggest and best amateur bodybuilding event in the history of the sport.
